Kold klar morgen med lyserød himmel, da solen begyndte at stige. Fuglekvidder i træerne, da jeg trådte ud med deres morgenmåltid, puffede solsorte, der ventede på æbler, og mejser, der ventede på nødder.

Indenfor blus i brændeovnen, dej til hævning og spindende katte. Landlig idyl. Ro og fred.

Søndagen byder på stille hjemmeliv med rugbrødsbagning, strik, vasketøj og klargøring af mandagsmiddagen. En gåtur ned i ådalen med hundi og så lidt arbejde ved computeren.

Alt sammen aktiviteter, der hurtigt kan afbrydes, hvis en baby melder sin ankomst. Termin var sidste fredag og der er endnu ingen tegn i sol eller måne. Men pludselig så er det nu og så er jeg klar til udrykning og pasning af den livlige trio, der allerede er her.

Jeg har ikke pakket hospitalstaske men en strikke/nattøjstaske, så jeg er klar, når der bliver kaldt.

Kaffe i koppen, en friskbagt havregrødsbolle on the side og så 2 x 91 masker slået op med Judy’ magic cast on, det tog lidt mere end bare et enkelt forsøg at få dem på pindene, men nu er starten til en Zipper Sweater gået, så Laura snart kan føje endnu en mammastrik til hendes samling.

Måske skulle jeg finde en god serie at se til de 22 cm drejet rib, det kan godt være et stykke strik, der tager lidt længere tid end jeg normalt ville kunne ræse igennem sådan et stykke. Drejet ret OG drejet vrang – jøsses.

Mon det skal være Matador? Det kunne det faktisk godt! Familien Varnæs og Skjern passer faktisk perfekt til sådan en slo’mo’ søndag.

I denne weekend er det 3 år siden, at vi flyttede ind i det lille skæve gamle hus på landet.

3 helt og aldeles vidunderlige år, når jeg nøjes med at kigge på vores lille lune bo og ikke på alt det, som er forgået rundt omkring, sådan med livet altså.

Uden overdrivelse overhovet så kan jeg sige, at jeg hver evigt eneste dag er taknemmelig for, at jeg bor lige netop her. På landet tæt på byen og omgivet af smuk smuk natur og en hel masse fred og ro.

Når jeg drejer ind på den lukkede vej nede fra landevejen, så falder pulsen og smilet breder sig over mit fjæs, hver dag tænker jeg: Hjem. Lige her. Jeg er så heldig heldig heldig.

Man kører en lille kilometers penge fra landevejen op gennem skoven og ned af en slyngende lille vej mod farmen. Ned igennem det sidste sving og så kan man se søen, husene, hestene, haverne og juletræerne. Hjemme.

At komme til at bo her var et lykketræf uden lige, historien er så fin og sjov og vi taler tit om, at det lykketræf faldt på det absolut helt rigtige tidspunkt. Det kan faktisk slet ikke diskuteres.

I dag har vi fejret det med en lille kage. Fejret et dejligt fællesskab uden tvang og forpligtelser, et fællesskab, som alle trives i og med. Sammen hver for sig blev “moderne” her på farmen, før nogen kendte til lockdown og restriktioner, som vi alle kender alt for godt nu. Sammen hver for sig på farmens måde får heldigvis aldrig en negativ klang eller et træt suk, det er tvært imod altid rart at tænke på.

Kagen har jeg fået inspiration til på Spis Bedres instagram side. Jeg er ret autonom, når jeg er i køkkenet, så der er trukket lidt ud af opskriften og tilført lidt andet, intet er skrevet ned og jeg kan sagtens anbefale opskriften helt som den er.

I det hele taget så er roulade altså et lidt for overset bagværk. Sådan en fætter er jo lynhurtigt lavet og kan laves af få ingredienser og med fyld på 100 måder. Mere roulade til folket, siger jeg bare.

Og mange flere år og jubilæer her på farmen på landet til mig, siger jeg faktisk bare endnu mere.

TINGFINDER ENGEL...BIRCHER MUESLI...VARM KAFFE...LUN GENSER...Langsom tirsdag morgen med snorkende dyr ved fødderne, Amanda i sofaen og rigeligt med varm kaffe i stempelkanden.

Jeg svarer på Vrads-mails, hvor der bookes decemberborde i vildskab, jeg strikker lidt på min Lun Genser, der faktisk kunne være færdig om et lille øjeblik, hvis det ikke var fordi, at jeg havde bestemt mig for at lægge lidt flere centimer til den ellers aflukkede bul og stille spiser jeg mig igennem en gedigen portion Bircher Muesli, der skal holde mig mæt og godt tilpas indtil en sen frokost.

 

Det føles som den vildeste luksus at ha’ tiden til bare at sidde, til at kunne trække morgenmaden lang og bare være til. Jeg er træt.

Træt men godt tilpas og bare taknemmelig for, at livet lige nu giver mulighed for stille væren…

 

Jeg lader dagene gå, som de går, lægger ikke (alt) for mange planer, men tager på de småture, som pludselig virker oplagte og nærmest nødvendige og som er med til at give energi og friske idéer. Jeg tager både alene afsted og også i selskab med dejlige mennesker, som jeg har haft for lidt tid til i de sidste mange måneder.

Søndag gik turen til Tingfinderiet, jeg elsker det sted og kan altid finde en lille ting eller fem, der bare MÅ med hjem. Der er noget for enhver smag og enhver stil deroppe på landet hos søde Tina, smukke gamle ting fra Sverige og Frankrig og masser af dansk retro af den flotte slags. Der er dyre ting, billige fund og tusindvis af ting til rigtig fornuftige priser, der er zink, der er keramik, der er plast og der er kurveflet, små ting, store ting, sjove ting, vidunderlige ting og allerbedst så får man den bedste og varmeste service.

 

Tina har været med til at udvide min samling af Gule Marie væsentligt, jeg har altid elsket det stel, som egentlig hedder B&S Ildfast, min farmor, som var fra Roskilde, havde en del af det, noget bor her hos mig nu, og min mor har en kæmpe samling, som hun har loppet sig til, og jeg er rigtigt glad for de store og små skåle, som jeg synes klæder maden smukt.

Og der kom da også et par skåle med hjem i søndags sammen med den lille pudsige engel, som lige nu står og spreder fred på spisebordet.

Efter Tingfinderiet var der vafler og hindbærskum på Savillas og bred enighed om, at januar måned må byde på sommerhustur for strikkeglade damer, børn og hunde på Lundø.

 

Jeg tanker på feel good-kontoen og strammer op til, at det fra i næste uge går løs igen. Julepyntning af stationen både inde og ude, jeg glæder mig til det og gode planer er lagt, det bliver roligt og ikke sådan Gertrud Sand agtigt, som jeg har set det et par gange, det bliver lyst og let og Annesk og jeg synes, at det passer så fint til de gamle rum.

Men det er først i næste uge.

Lige nu er det ro og fred for det tager tid at lande efter sådan et livs-hop, som jeg har lavet.

Men det er okay på sådan en tirsdag morgen med masser af timer at tage af…
