Bagsiden af mit strikketøj ligner små bjergformationer, et ret fascinerende skue, synes jeg, gråt og fimret og toppet.

På den anden side ligner det indtil videre ikke noget særligt, men jeg er sikker på, at det efter en opskylning og et fast pres vil blive rigtigt skønt.

Jeg strikker Jared Floods Wool Leaves til en barselsgave, som Laura har bestilt hos mig, og da den lille baby kom før, end jeg lige havde fattet, ja så er jeg under pres, skal vist allerhelst være færdig nu –

som i lige nu!

Men jeg mangler nok også kun 30-40 cm…

Jeg har valgt at strikke det en anelse mindre bulky, end originalen, der er strikket i dobbelt Cascade Eco Wool på p 9, og det synes jeg nok er i overkanten kraftigt til et lille barnevognstæppe.

Så jeg er på p 4 med en tråd shetlandsuld og en tråd Isager Alpaca 1, det bliver smukt og blødt, synes jeg.

Shetlandsulden sidder på en stor cone, som ikke fortæller noget som helst om oprindelse, løbelængde, vægt eller andet brugbart, men den er i alle tilfælde noget tykkere end den sædvanlige Supersoft.

Jeg ved, at den er skøn, når den er strikket op, flot grå nuance med sarte brunlige toner, der gjorde sig godt på Villums trøje.

Sofa, strik, te og tv kalder, Laura svinger pisken, for hvad bliver det egentlig til med det tæppe, moar…

      Ja, der bliver da lunt derunder, og mon ikke også moderen vil hygge sig med at stoppe det uldne godt ned omkring barnet, når vintervejret kommer…

    Uha, dobbelt Cascade Eco lyder ganske forfærdeligt – især oven på et lille nyt friskt menneske. Jeg synes at dit garnvalg ser helt perfekt ud.

    De der dutter er så skønne, men de flader desværre noget ud i brug;)
    Hvor er det fint med den retstrikkede kant. Det inspirerer lige mig til et tørklæde projekt.

    Uha, hvor jeg da lige kender det der med at være under pres…jeg har lige syet et sengesæt til en “babyboy” der også meldte sin ankomst lidt før beregnet…der var ikke andet at gøre end at se og blive færdig i en fart…

    Fordelen ved at strikke et babytæppe i dobbelt aran-vægt må være, at man er helt sikker på at babyen bliver hvor den er! Mønsteret ligner det udødelige Shetland Triangle, og det er ren magi at se de folde sig ud fra æggebakke til smukt hulmønster efter vask.
