Dette års 12 Projekter lakker mod enden, jeg mangler bare et sidste lille bidrag for at være i mål, ja det vil sige, at faktisk blev jeg aldrig færdig med de egernvanter, jeg startede ud med, men der er kommet andet af pindene, hvor materialerne har været fra skuffen, så alt i alt må det betegnes som fuldført.

Jeg bestilte bogen “Knitter’s Almanac” engang Mette havde linket til den lille fine trøje, men på en eller anden måde, så var bogens oldnordiske udseende bare ikke særligt inspirerende, og jeg kom aldrig i gang.

Heller ikke selvom jeg siden er kommet til at holde ganske meget af EZ’s bøger med deres små anekdoter i, hun var en dygtig håndværker, der har haft stor indflydelse på vores måde at strikke på, og selvom nogle af hendes designs er en kende for oldschool, ja så inspirerer hendes teknikker og grundmønstre så mange dygtige strikkere, som vi andre så kan beundre og forsøge at strikke efter…

Men nu skal det være, for rundt omkring på nettet flashes 100-vis af skønne FBS, se bare her og her og i min skuffe lå det lækreste nøgle mereleret lyseblåt Peterhead, helt perfekt til Sophies venindes lille stump, der snart skal fødes og som allerede nu hedder Noa, og som ved scanning tydeligt viste, at han var en dreng, så lyseblåt er i vinkel.

Og lige om lidt, i morgen måske, så er mit 12. projekt færdigt, og jeg er klar til en ny omgang i 08…

    Jeg har også babysweateren på min to-do liste, men jeg mangler sgu garnet, og det er et problem af de større! Jeg overvejer lidt Cathay fra Debbie Bliss, men jeg har aldrig haft garnet i hænderne, og da jeg ikke orker at bevæge hele Dolph-kostumet ind til byen og befamle, ja så er planerne skrinlagt for nu :-/

    Så nydelig farge og garn!!! Jeg gleder meg til å se jakken ferdig.
    Jeg er blitt så glad i EZ sine bøker, de blir stadig hentet frem fra bokhyllen her for å få inspirasjon.

    Jep, den bog har jeg også. Antikvarisk er lige ordet, men modellerne fejler ikke noget – det er bare det med at tage sig sammen og gå i gang med de mange ord….

    Jeg har længe haft kig på EZ – og der skal også købes nogle bøger ind – når jeg syntes jeg er lidt mere velbevandret i engelske opskrifter.. det er vel egentlig bare noget med at springe ud i det med lukkede øjne og spredte ben – og går det galt så gifter vi os… men alt lykkedes i en gasovn.. Mange af allervarmeste tanker fra Ærø

    Jeg plejer ikke at oversætte, Mette, men det har jeg gjort denne gang, for jeg havde lidt svært ved at lave indre billeder ud fra den lille forklaring, der er i bogen.
    Jeg er allerede temmelig langt, det er et hurtigt lille arbejde, så glæd dig bare til at komme i gang 🙂

    Ja ja, Julie, der var du sgi godt nok beslutsom 😉
    Jeg ville nu også gerne ha’ strikket i bløde Cathay, men da det er et lille bidrag til de 12, så går den jo ikke.
    Men jeg er helt sikker på, at denne trøje vil blive strikket mange gange her, så mon ikke jeg vil tillade mig selv indkøb næste gang.
    Glæder mig til at se den lilla udgave…

    Jeg tror også, at jeg ender med at blive helt glad for bogen, Evanette, men jeg har altså lige skulle vænne mig til de lidt håbløse billeder, jeg bruge øjnene rigtigt meget, når jeg skal finde ny inspiration til strik.
    Også god “rom-jul” til dig…

    De mange ord er hyggelige, Britt, når først man er kommet i gang, men lay-out’et, milde moses 😉

    Køb du bare, Charlotte, man når langt med en almindelig ordbog, og så er der også masser af hjælp at hente på nettet, ja faktisk meget bedre, end en ordbog, nu jeg tænker over det.
    Så luk og spred du alt det du lyster 😉

    Den bliver nemlig rigtig fin, Hanne, og det er helt sikkert ikke det eneste stykke strik ham Noa vil blive trukket i her fra mine pinde, hvis altså moderen er enig!

    Jeg har lige strikket to af slagsen go synes bare den er verdens soedeste lille troeje. Jeg er sikker paa jeg kommer til at strikke rigtig mange af dem. En anden favorit er the Modular Tomten. Den er god til boern i alle aldre. Forresten, har du overvejet at strikke dit julegavegarn til en af EZ’s pi shawls? Det kunne garanteret blive ret fedt.

    Den der Tomten, den må vist også prøves engang, Tina, den er der mange, der har snakket begejstret om.
    Og jeg vil gi’ dig ret, FBS er nærmest verdens sødeste lille trøje.

    Jeg må kigge nærmere på Pi sjalerne, måske var det en mulighed, men jeg er jo i virkeligheden nok mere til de lange tørklæder, end til de trekantede…
