Lørdag morgen.

Klar til fest.

Sådan da…

Jeg har været oppe siden gry, set solen stå op over søen og nydt at den kunne ses og ikke lå gemt bag grå skyer.

Kattene lusker stille omkring, parate til at komme ud og fange dagens første mus eller edderkop, Nugga har sneget sig op i sofaen, jeg lader som om, at jeg ikke har set det.

Teen er duftende og skoldhed i koppen og jeg nyder at knasede en af svigermors gode småkager til.

Jeg nyder livet lige så stille for mig selv, mens jeg sysler og varmer mig i morgenkulden ved tanken om, at vi om 8 timer skal byde så mange skønne mennesker ind og lade dem fylde huset med snak og latter, det bliver vidunderligt…

Der er stadig småting at ordne, jeg er ikke i sidste øjebliks-panik, jeg nyder at kigge på listerne og vide, at det der skal klares, er til at gå til og noget, der skal sætte de fine prikker over i’et.

Bordkortene har fået navne og er kommet i små poser, så der er styr på, hvem der skal sidde hvor.

Dagens hurtigstribede vest til Amanda har fået en sidste finpudsning, og hun sagde i går, at den var lige som hun ønskede, så der er ikke mere tilbage at klare der.

De lysegrønne små marengs står til tørre i ovnen, i aften skal de toppe de store islagkager, jeg synes næsten allerede, at jeg kan smage dem, søde og sprøde.

Jeg er i hopla, parat til de sidste indkøb,  klar til fest og skønne timer…

    Vil du ikke nok være sød at fotografere og vise det færdigt pyntede bord? Bordkortene lover noget anderledes og farverigt, som man måske kunne lade sig inspirere af.

    Festen har helt sikkert været ligeså blændende og skøn som solskinsdagen den blev holdt på.
