Jeg har fået en gave, der giver mig lyst til at sadle om, til at finde en lækker kuglepen med tynd tynd spids, til at pudse håndskriften af, jeg har fået en stak kort fra Minimega og de kalder på brevskriveren inden i mig.

For længe siden, 15 år måske, havde jeg en monster diskussion omkring emails, som jeg fnysende tog afstand fra, når det handlede om personlig korrespondance; arbejdsmæssigt var det okay, men som erstatning for håndskrevne breve – never!!

Jeg har altid skrevet mange breve til de veninder, der med tiden var kommet til at bo rundt omkring i landet og verden, mine kærester har også fået mange knitrende sider med svungne bogstaver og til jul nærmede mit brevskriveri det sig en hel industri.

Nu skriver jeg nærmest kun breve i december, resten af året er det mails og sms’er der ryger afsted, stadig masser af kommunikation, nu bare elektronisk.

Faktisk skriver jeg så lidt i hånden, at jeg i løbet af nul komma fem får krampe i fingre og underarm, jeg spænder så det er helt vildt, og det går også langsomt, især når jeg er nået ned i bunden af et A4-ark, og endda rigtigt langsomt, hvis det også skal se sådan lidt smukt ud…

Det er da egentlig ærgerligt, at brevskriveriet er ved at være dødt, for der er nu et eller andet ved at sidde der ved bordet med te i koppen, ro på og så tankerne på vandring, imens man forfatter linierne til den, der sidder et andet sted og venter på nyt, på små hverdagsanekdoter og glimt af livet her hos mig.

Og en ganske særlig glæde vækker det også, når der ind imellem ligger et rigtigt ægte brev i min egen postkasse, med sider at folde ud og historier at fortælle, jeg elsker det og hvert brev, der lander her hos mig, bliver læst mange gang.

Skulle jeg mon ikke bare ta’ hul på det brevskriveri igen?

Jeg kunne jo starte med at skrive tak til Sara, der har sendt mig de fine kort!

Selvfølgelig på noget andet end hendes eget design…

    Og ja, det er utroligt. Tænk sig at have gennemført div. stile og skriftlige eksaminer med en kuglepen i hånden. – Min hånd er også ude af træning, og min tålmodighed med. Jeg får krampe, og det tager mig alt for lang tid.
    Det er synd, men en erkendelse jeg for et par år siden måtte sande. Til gengæld er det positive, at jeg i dag får skrevet meget mere end tidligere. 🙂

    Hmmm — ja det er tankevækkende at man faktisk skriver så få håndskrevne breve nu om dage. Selv når jeg skriver manuskripter brainstormer jeg på PC’en og dog også på blankt papir i hånden .

    Sikke nogle dejlige ting Sara laver, der var du heldig at modtage sådan en kasse kort.
    Må indrømme jeg tit skriver på p.c. river det ud og sætter det ind i kort, da min håndskrift ikke er at prale med ,)

    de er SÅ flotte! må også se at få bestilt nogle. og så er der da ikke meget bedre, end når man selv modtager et håndskrevet brev. Men du har ret: ind i mellem er det godt nok svært at læse, hvad folk skriver. Min svigermor har forresten lige vist mig en lille håndfuld breve fra en “mystisk ukendt fremmed” – det viste sig de var fra mig. HUn kunne ikke læse underskriften… KH
