Jeg fik engang en lille plante af en dreng i skolen, en grædepalme kaldte han den; den er spinkel og fin, ligner et lille træ og “græder” en enkelt dråbe på hvert eneste blad, når man vander den.
Når det bliver efterår bliver den gullig og blød, og skal så sættes ind i mørket og samle kræfter til en ny sæson…
I dag har jeg hevet den frem fra kosteskabet, hvor den har overvintret sammen med sine aflæggere; denne ene er godt på vej, de andre samler stadig kræfter! Må vi ikke få et link til det billede på Flicker? Jeg kan ikke forstå, hvis det skulle være en Amorphophallus, den ligner jo ikke et træ og er ret markant i sit udseende…men jeg har selv haft planter, der “græd”…
Hey, den kaldes også for en leopardstilk… den ligner min helt rigtigt, men det billedet der er sat ind af bettina, det ligner ikk en grædepalmne/leopardstilk. hvis den fylder for meget kan du tage den uden for i læ og ikk under 10-12 grader om natten.
Det Latinske navn er hydrosme rivieri – amorphophallus er så vidt jeg kan finde ud af bare en beslægtet plante der ligner meget. I almen tale kaldes den leopardpalme/leopardstilk eller grædepalme.

Jeg fik engang en lille plante af en dreng i skolen, en grædepalme kaldte han den; den er spinkel og fin, ligner et lille træ og “græder” en enkelt dråbe på hvert eneste blad, når man vander den.
