Jeg har lige været på rundtur med vandkanden, og når jeg kommer til mine duft-geranier, så må jeg altid lige røre ved bladene, og lade deres stærke dufte fylder rummene.
Planterne er ikke for kønne lige nu, de vokser sig så ranglede her om vinteren, men duftene er intakte, parfumerede og intense…

Jeg har en lille samling af geranier, om sommeren står de på terrassen og pynter med fine blomster, og krydrer luften omkring dem, når man stryger op ad bladene.
Jeg har købt de fleste hos Urtegartneriet, hvor vi også har hentet mange af vores krydderurter; men enkelte er også fundet andre steder.
En ældre gartner på et stort gartneri fortalte mig, at Ørepineplanten, pelargonium graveolens, i gamle dage også blev kaldt “Ryst æ pot’, Marie”, fordi man havde den stående i stadsstuerne, og når der så kom fine gæster, ja så rystede pigen lige urtepotten, og der duftede fint og friskt derinde…

Jeg sidder her med citrusduften bølgende omkring mig, følelsen af sommeraften på terrassen er lyslevende indeni, og udenfor drysser så den fineste hvide sne ned, det bliver vist ikke sommer de først fem minutter!!

    Er du vimmer de har mange fede planter der hos urtegartneriet. Har gemt adressen under “foretrukne” og udskrevet kørselsvejledning på krak.dk. Er bare så klar til at handle der *G*
    Tak for linket, som godt nok ikke helt virker, men jeg fandt det.

    Nu virker linket, Jane, havde lige fået et http for meget med, da jeg kopierede!
    Urtegartneriet ligger 8 min. kørsel herfra, du kommer vel indenom??
    Det bedste ved at handle derude, er den kæmpe viden Kirsten og Erik har om alle deres planter, de fortæller alt, hvad der er værd at vide, gi’r mange gode råd om dyrkning og anvendelse!
