Kl 06.05 i morgen startede jeg bilen og kørte til Aarhus for at hente Amanda, der landede på efterskolen efter en uge i smukke kolde Norge.
En uge på ski med masser af spas og gode oplevelser. En uge i 10 mands hytte med de udfordringer, som den slags nu kan gi’.
Træt med træt på men også rigtig glad og fuld af fortællelyst.

Hjem med taskerne.
Ud med tøjet.
Gang i vaskemaskine og tumbler…

For kl 13.15 kører jeg Laura til Ikast, hvor hendes bus til Østrig venter.
En uge på ski med gymnasiet. En uge på hotel. En uge med fest, farver, afterski og halløj.
Jeg er helt sikker på, at det bliver sjovt, især for hende, knap så meget for mor med mange bekymringer.

Jeg skal pakke dem væk, siger barnet, påstår at hun er fornuftig og har overblik.
Jeg klapper i og smiler blødt.
Og bæver inden i…

Jeg har bagt lidt ekstra ro ind i de tunesiske kaffebrød, som Laura har bestilt til turen sydover.
Eller egentlig er det en af veninderne, der har bestilt. Hun huskede, at jeg tidligere har bagt dem, Laura huskede ikke en skid.

Måske var det fordi, at det var til lille overraskelsesfest, som vi holdt for hende ingen afgang til USA.
Men kaffebrød er der og andre har mere lødig spise med, så de unge kan få lagt en god solid bund inden brædder og bier kalder.

Amanda snorker på sofaen.
Laura tumler med de sidste pakkenelliker.
Jeg tager en afstressende tur under bruseren og messer for mig selv “Det går nok, det går nok, det går nok!”

Hvis andre har lyst til kaffebrød, så ligger der så mange opskrifter derude.
Jeg har bagt mine efter opskriften i Rollinger og Roulader og jeg gengiver ikke opskrifter fra andres bøger her.
Men så vidt jeg kan se, så er det stort set den samme, som ligger på masser af andre sider.

Så kaffebrød behøver man ikke at undvære.
Heller ikke selv om man ikke er på vej til Østrig…

    Det lyder da som en rigtig god ide med fælles madpakker, dejligt når veninderne ved hvad der skal medbringes. Lad os håbe, de får en fin tur til alperne

    Åh, Anne som vi kan bekymre os;-) Jeg er sikker på vores børn er godt rustet! Selv om de ikke husker en skid på tyrkisk brød, pølsehorn, brækspand.. Og våd klud på panden…. Vi må håbe, at de fik nok med på deres voksenrejse…. Siger Sidsel, hvis søn skydriver fra 15.000 fods højde. Bungyjump fra 137m højde……. Anne, jeg er et vrag……

    Bekymringene er absolutt forståelige – og antakelig uunngåelige, om man som mor skal gjøre jobben sin. Men hun overlevde det store Amerika, gjorde hun ikke? Jeg syns forøvrig de kaffebrødsultne tenåringene er vidunderlig søte, det er jo noe litt mormoraktig over dem. Og du er så god som baker til dem! Håper helgens kokkeleringer går som du vil.       Haha ja, Tora, lidt mormor er der, det kan jeg også hygge mig med.

      Weekendens mad gik så fint, men føj jeg er træt, jeg holder ikke til så meget mere, som jeg gjorde engang.

    Det skal nok gaa godt, men det ved du selvfoelgelig godt og alligevel staar bekymringerne paa spring. Lige pludselig er hun hjemme igen, fortaellelysten, sulten og traet, men med maven fuld af oplevelser. 🙂
