Ferien er i gang, alle er hjemme,freden sænker sig over os og vi mærker, at vi trænger til det.
Vi trænger til at være sammen i mere end bare en weekend, vi trænger til at have tid til at få talt og siddet tæt, tid til bare at være på en stille og julefredelig måde.

De fleste indkøb er overstået, langt de fleste, men jeg kommer sikkert i tanke om et eller andet, som jeg lige må ud efter i morgen, hvis vejrguderne og saltvognene vil samarbejde omkring det, og ellers bliver det vel jul alligevel.
Med eller uden de sidste fornødenheder…

Jeg behøver ikke meget for at ha’ en dejlig jul, bare der er 3 skønne unger inden for rækkevidde, lidt mad i køleskabet og lunt og hyggeligt indendøre, så går det hele så fint så fint.
Alene det at Laura er hjemme i år gør det hele så meget skønnere, det var ikke helt det samme uden hende sidste år, hvor hun sad i Wisconsin.

Men vi har jo meget mere end det, der er nødvendigt, vi har masser af mad og knas, vi har gode gaver til hver og en, vi har et smukt og duftende træ, vi har gode film på lager, bløde dyner at putte i, hyggelige dyr at more os over, masser af nyde og vi vil gøre det, vil vi.

I morgen aften er der middag sammen med gode venner, juleaftensdag frokost sammen med andre dejlige og også dagene i mellemjulen byder på samvær med mennesker, som vi sætter rigtigt meget pris på.

Julen er over os og den kan bare komme an.
Også selv om jeg sidder her og pludselig kommer i tanke om, at jeg har glemt portvinen…
