Skrællingen Otto er landet og har (selvfølgelig) allerede tager vores hjerter med storm.

 

Fredag hentede vi ham på Als hos Pia og Bjarne og han har stort set ikke været ude af vores hænder siden, han er blev aet, kysset, krammet, kælet, nusset og ordnet og har sovet på og i arm.

Vi er helt sikre på, at han vil komme til at fylde os med lige så meget glæde og varme, som Viggo gjorde, skønne Viggo, skønne Otto.

 

At han har haft det rigtigt godt, der hvor han er vokset op, det mærkes så tydeligt. Han er trygt og selvsikker, kælen og nysgerrig og ikke engang den store bløde hvide kan få ham til at gemme sig.

Han svanser hjemvant rundt i stuerne her og skynder sig på badeværelset, hvis der er noget af den slags, der skal klares. Han har lige ligget på køkkengulvet i en solstribe, mens jeg har ordnet derude, han vil være der, hvor der er liv og kontakt.

Ind imellem går det over stok og sten, huhej vilde dyr med spjæt og farlige hvæs, men man bliver hurtigt træt, når man bare er en lille kat og ikke en stor tiger, og så hopper Otto lige op i favnen på den af os, der nu sidder og ser ud, som om vi ikke har andet at lave end at holde en sovende kat.

 

Og vi holder selvfølgelig gerne  –

hellere end gerne…

 

I forhold til store tunge brede Viggo, ja så er Otto jo bare en bette fis. Han vejer det samme som Viggo gjorde, da han flyttede ind, lige på den anden side af 1000 gram, men hvor Viggo var kort og kompakt er den lille nye lang og ranglet, Viggo havde tæt og forholdsvis kort pels i begyndelsen, Otto har det modsatte, han har mere “spredt bevoksning” og er langhåret og silkeblød.

Brun i det yderste af pelsen og sølvgrå inde ved kroppen, han er med på beatet med dip-and-dye-frisure. Swag Otto.

 

Vi kalder ham skrællingen med gør det med kærlighed i stemmen, for han er jo helt som han skal være, velplejet og fin, det er jo bare os, der lige har slæbt rundt på og delt sofaplads med en ordentlig kleppert, der vejede 7 x så meget.

Inden længe er skrællingen blev til en bøf, som ikke vælter om på siden, når han kommer til at løbe for hurtigt, inden længe så hænger han en halv meter oppe i luften, når han springer efter en fjer, lige nu er han mest i lavtgående jagt med mælkemaven i sikker gulvhøjde.

    Tak for alle jeres gode og søde ord om Otto, dem er vi glade for, næsten lige så glade, som vi er for ham, men også kun næsten 🙂
    Og I kan roligt regne med, at der kommer masser af billeder af ham her på kanalen.

    Og Sidsel – de grønne ører havde var sat fast i det ny-tatoverede og vi ville ikke mosle med det, men nu er det ude, han har været i bad og der er knap så meget alien-look over de kæmpestore ører mere…
