I efteråret arvede jeg Farmors mørke Fleur lampe og glæder mig hver dag over at have den stående i min vindueskarm og sende blødt lys ud i det vinterdunkle rum.

Allerede da den kom med hjem tænkte jeg, at jeg skulle skynde mig at få købt en ny skærm, ikke fordi, at der blev røget eller andet grimt hos Farmor, men mange års brug sætter sine spor på en helt lys skærm.

 

Fleur havde i begyndelsen en fin plisseret skærm, men flyttede ind hos mig med en helt enkelt stofskærm med næsten samme mål for oven og forneden. Og det enkle udtryk, som det giver, kan jeg rigtigt godt li’ og tanken er  –  eller rettere var  –  én ny i samme stil.

 

Lige indtil til i går sidste på dagen altså…

 

For sådan en skærm koster 700.- kr.

Syvforbistredehundrede?!

For lidt stof og lidt stativ?!

 

Det er et alvorligt haps af mit ugebudget, der er noget magert lige nu, hvor jeg betaler hus leje 2 steder. Så jeg gik ud af lampeforretningen uden skærm og tænkte, at jeg måtte ønske mig en ny i fødselsdagsgave.

Men uden forældre, søskende, mand og sådan, så er det ret begrænset, hvad der lander på mit fødselsdagsbord og jeg er faktisk ret sikker på, at mine piger vil nedlægge alvorlige protester, hvis jeg siger, at en lampeskærm er hvad jeg ønsker af dem.

 

Jeg tænker nærmest, at de vil nægte.

Og jeg vil i virkeligheden nok også hellere forkæles med noget mere personligt…

 

Så jeg har været forbi et byggemarked og hente en dåse hvid spraymaling og har forpestet både egne og omkringflyvende fugles lunger med en ordentlig gang lak.

Pyf hvor det river, når sådan noget slippes ud af dåsen.

 

Men skærmen er lys og fin og kan sagtens holde i de måneder, hvor jeg sparer op til én ny.

Og så kan jeg jo samtidig lægge penge til side til en Le Klint skærm, der mangler på en anden lille lampe nede fra Farmor.

Selve lampen er inde og blive frisket op med ny fatning og ledning, det er en halvgammel sag, som Le Klint og Den kongelige Porcelainsfabrik engang har lavet sammen.

 

Istandsættelsen koster et par hundrede, skærmen 6 x så meget.

      Den ser især fin ud, når der ikke er lys i lampen, Eva, den er nemlig lidt “plettet”. Stoffet har ikke taget jævnt imod. Men lidt dyreprint er altid smart 😉

    Når du har fået din lampeskærm, så er det jo også noget du vil glæde dig over, for du har sparet op til den og ikke bare købt den!! Sådan har jeg det ihvertilfælde med mange ting. Jeg har fortjent dem fordi jeg har ønsket dem og derfor påskønner det så meget mere.

      Der må spares op, Lis og jeg vil glæde mig til at gå ned og hente skærmen, når pungen er fuld af mønster til lige præcis det projekt…

      Det ville hjælpe sådan ca 7500 om måneden, Randi og det er da en slat! Så er der til flere lampeskærme…

    Det var altså smart tænkt Anne.
    Jeg har også haft en lampeskærm på ønskesedlen længe, vores LeKlint skærm har nemlig slået revner og er blevet gul, det er altså ikke kønt. 😉
    Men kommer tid kommer råd, er det ikke sådan man siger ?

    Nød lærer nyskilt kvinde mangen en færdighed – sådan var det i hvert fald for mig. Og jeg husker stadigt den hænderne helt oppe over hovedet fede fornemmelse, når jeg godt kunne; få tingene til at løbe rundt trods spinkelt budget, udtænke kreative løsninger OG udføre dem. Du er sej, Anne! 🙂

    SYVHUNDREDE KRONER??? De maa sgi da have spist papsoem. Min var godt nok ogsaa blevet spraymalet, hvis det var saadan fat.
