Jeg sidder her med afrohår og hængerøv, med knæ i de bløde bukser og bare tæer, der vipper i takt til lidt hyggeligt musik fra radioen, jeg driver den af og fortrænger fuldstændigt, at jeg i morges var ved at få åndedrætsbesvær over alle de ting, der står listet op her på den ene og den anden seddel.
Gaver, mad, julekort, koordinering af besøg og udveksling af juleknus, småkagebagning og fremtrylning af den sidste pynt, so much to do, men helt ærligt, jeg kan ikke få mig selv sparket ud af det hygge-mode i lavt gear, som jeg har daffet i siden i går, hvor afslapningsbarometeret stod på højt og herligt…
Torben så mig i morges gå halvejs i spagat af “Jeg-skal-bare”, han var vist glad for, at der ventede ham en arbejdsdag på kontoret i stedet for en actiondag sammen med konen, det er ikke lige noget for ham.
Men når han nu læser, at jeg stadig sidder her og intet har fået ordnet, så længes han garanteret hjem til brændeovn, blød hund og masser af god kaffe!
Måske burde jeg lette mig bare af den ene årsag, at jeg udsatte ham for mit hvirvleri og tankespin i morges, lige der da han bare sad og så lidt træt ud…
Skulle jeg mon ikke lige ta’ et par timers raid med en liste i hånden og en stak sedler i pungen?
Kunne jeg mon ikke nå at få ordnet de fleste gaver på et par timer?
Der mangler ligesom de der små hyggelige bunker rundt omkring i huset, dem med fint papir og bånd, der får forventningens glæde til at stige og rådighedsbeløbet til at falde.
Jeg må nok hellere, måske skulle jeg bare lade afro være afro og så gi’ folkene på gaden et billigt grin.

En anden gang så gør som jeg: En vaskeklud til at fjerne det gamle makeup under øjnene, som du sædvanligvis glemte at fjerne om aftenen, og som aldrig gik af i badet, og så et tørklæde om hovedet og halstørklædet godt skubbet op, som om du fryser. – Så kan man, selv i en lille by, godt få lov til at gå som Palle alene i verdenen. Jeg har absolut ikke hatte- eller tørklædehoved, men det virker, og det er skønt!
Håber du fik købt de sidste gaver. Her sker det forhåbentligt på torsdag, selvom jeg hvert år truer med, at NÆSTE år, så skal det være klaret inden d. 1. december.:-)
Åh den fede lysestage er på bordet! Ønsker mig inderligt et par i julegave, gerne i hvid og blå, men er ikke helt sikker på, at min kæreste forstår min begejstring. Øv!
Jeg kan nok næsten bedre klare det, hvis det er nogen jeg kender, der ser mig i uglet tilstand, Frida, de har jo set mig sådan før, det er værre med dem, der ikke kender mig, de fortjener ikke at få formiddagen ødelagt af mig og mit morgenhår 🙂
Jeg måtte under bruseren, Nette, jeg er ikke rigtigt i gang med dagen, før jeg har fået det kolde gys.
Jeg blev ikke færdig med gaver, men det var hellere ikke meningen, jeg kan li’ at drysse det ud over nogle dage, ingen stress, jeg når det hele, i stille og julehyggeligt tempo…
Jeg lagde parykken ned før afgang, Marianne, det kunne ikke være i bilen ellers 😉
Jeg kunne godt snuppe én i hver farve, Karen, den sorte og den gule, uhmmmm, de er også flotte.
Mon ikke jeg næsten bliver nødt til at lade hunden forære mig den gule til jul 😉
De er virkelig flotte. Have faktisk bestemt mig for at købe to til mig selv, men havde nok forestillet mig at de kun kostede det halve.
Ihvertfald var det lidt for dyrt for en studerende!
Så jeg kom hjem uden lysestager, men med endnu et ønske til jul 🙂
Jeg kan godt se, at det vil rive voldsomt i budgettet, Karen, hvis du skulle forære dig selv et par stykker.
Men på den anden side, så skal der være plads til den slags langtidsholdbare lækkerier, også når man er ung, man kan leve en del dage på havregryn og rugbrød 😉
Jeg købte også gode ting, da jeg var kokkeelev og ultrafattig enlig mor, og nogle af dem har jeg stadig her 25 år efter, så det kan ind imellem godt betale sig.
Du kan jo starte med en enkelt 🙂
