Dekoreret Bodil…

Indtil kl.9.15 i dag klarede vi skoletimerne ved stearinlysets skær, intet elektrisk var tændt, det var bælg-ragende mørkt i krogene, kun lige i lysets nærhed var det til at se, i alle tilfælde til øjnene havde vænnet sig til mørket.

Det var ikke for at spare, ej heller fordi der skulle fifles med det elektriske system på instituttet, det var bare sådan for at mærke, hvor meget alle de elektriske anordninger præger vores hverdag, hvor fuldstændig uafhængige vi er af årstidens korte dage, vi trykker bare på kontakten og så er der lys til at arbejde og virke ved.

Børnene havde det så sjovt, de syntes det var vældigt spændende, og mente, at sådan kunne vi godt klare os om vinteren, specielt i december, hvor det lige tilførte lidt ekstra krydderi til hyggen…

Bodil var selvfølgelig pyntet med en batteridrevet lyskæde om halsen, fin var hun og så var det også dejligt for de små nogen i 1.klasse, at der var knapt så uhyggeligt på den store kulsorte skole.

Et enkelt sted havde vi dog snydt lidt, der var strøm i hjemkundskabslokalet, jeg havde skemafri dag, så jeg kunne lave julefrokostmad, og det var altså ikke let at kokkerere ret meget i mørke, heller ikke selv om der var mange stearinlys til gøre godt med, de er altså også ret svære at varme ovnene op med.

Lige om lidt er det mørkt igen, vi nærmer os årets korteste dag, jeg glæder mig, trods hyggen i mørket, til at vi går mod lysere tider igen…

    Jeg kan altså så godt li bodils halskæde.. den lysende engel eller noget.. jeg syntes også dag og nat nærmest går i et i øjeblikket.. det er ikke meg3et lys der bliver vist os i disse dage – til gengæld gør stearinlys sig godt hele dagen – og det bliver flittigt brugt.. hilsner fra Ærø

    Kanon god ide med at “mørkelægge” skolen så ungerne for øjene op for hvormeget vi egentlig bruger elektricitet…

    Det var da en supergod idé, sådan at anskueliggøre energiforbrug på en sjov og hyggelig måde. Faktisk må det kunne kaldes for en lys ide! 🙂

    Optikeren kommer lige op i mig….det tager 20 minutter at blive mørkeadopteret….Men sikke dog en god ide I der har lagt for dagen….:-)

    Ja,Charlotte, hun var fin, hende Bodil!

    Børnene hyggede sig i mørket, Marianne, men vi fik også gode snakke om, hvordan man kunne være lidt mere bevist om tændt og slukket lys!

    Sikke da jule-vittig du er, Lea, en lys idé – griner 🙂

    Tak for det, Anne, det var lige en oplysning, som jeg vil elske at give videre til børnene. Vi snakkede netop om, hvor god man blev til at se i alt mørket, når bare det havde været der en tid.

    Eftermiddagen dengang i Bodils have var så dejlig, vi snakker ind imellem om den, og du forestiller dig såmænd rigtigt, jeg fandt på og fordelte opgaver mellem de andre forældre.

    …og så må det da vist hedde mørke adapteret…nå pyt meningen var god nok….men du kan jo så fortælle at det er pupillen der skal åbne sig … og da tappene (vores farvesyn) på nethinden kræver lys, for at “virke” tager stavene over.Stavene tager sig primært af nattesynet.

    Jeg bor i Melbourne og foelger lidt med paa din side.
    For over 30 aar siden startede jeg i skole og fik Bodil som klasselaerer.
    Jeg bliver stadig hel varm om hjertet naar jeg taenker paa hende.
    Ja, hun er bare hel speciel.
    At hun stadig har gnisten undre mig ikke.

    Boede i Moselund og brugte mange timer paa opdagelsesrejse i mosen der hvor Boellingsoe er nu. Saa der er sjovt at laese om hvor meget du bruger omraaedet.

    Tænk sig, at Bodil har været din klasselærer, det har været dejligt, det ved jeg.
    Jeg tænker lidt på, om hun mon engang har fortalt om dig, om at du mistede din mor alt for tidligt, eller måske blander jeg nogle historier sammen.

    Jeg kan måske ta’ et billede af dit gamle hus i Moselund, hvis du fortæller mig hvor du boede…
