Givtig workshop…

Både lørdag og søndag var jeg på Helga Isager workshop, der var strukturstrik og noget faconstrik på programmet, hyggelige workshops med tid til både strik og snik-snak.

På begge kurser var jeg så heldig at møde andre bloggere, det gav strikke-oplevelserne en ekstra dimension.

Jeg strikkede ivrigt de små “prøve-klude”, og sad med mange idéer om, hvad det ene og det andet ville kunne bruges til.

Det kileformede vendestrik betog mig, kilernes forskellige struktur i skiftevis tyndt og tykt garn, den vifteformede facon, og det lille faste stykke foroven.

Mens jeg sad med det mellem fingrene, kom der små billeder af en kort poncho-ting, eller cape, på nethinden, let og alligevel lun, en god sag til vinterens kolde pust på vores gamle skole…

Helga kunne følge mine forestillinger, og vi fik sammen gang i skitsepapir, målebånd og lommeregner, og inden længe var jeg i Kunstladens garnmekka og vælge garn til min egne model.

Jeg er i gang, og er indtil videre godt tilfreds med sagen; smalle striber strikket af Højlandsgarn og Isagers nye ultratynde Alpaca, og så bredere vifter af en enkelt tråd Alpaca. Farvemulighederne i den nye Alpaca er ret begrænsede, og kombineret med det udvalg, der var tilbage af Højlandsgarn, der måtte det blive det brune, der skulle i spil.

For neden skal der samles op til en kant i retriller, og for oven, ja der er der forskellige muligheder, stor løs krave, fastere kort krave, asymmetrisk krave med knapper, ingen beslutninger er taget endnu, først skal der nemlig kiles ret mange gange.

Min egen model, tilfredshed! Mon ikke den skal døbes Portobello, når den engang er færdig til at lune mine skuldre…

    Anne – jeg er hundrede på at Poncho´er er “the next big knit thing”! Jeg har også planer (en af mange) om at lave en her til vinter, men den bliver grovstrikket. Glæder mig til at se din design-kreation. Meget faktisk 🙂

    Jeg er lige lidt for træt til helt at forstå teknikken, men det ser lækkert ud og portobello er et fedt navn til projektet.

    Whau Anne, din seje sild. Den ser skøn ud, glæder mig vildt til at se den færdig. Vendestrik er faktisk ret sjovt, og forholdsvis hurtig teknik, måske man skulle kaste sig over en lille kort jakke med knapper på den måde…..

    Jeg glæder mig meget til at se ponchoen – det er også spændende fordi den er strikket på “den anden led”.

    Den bliver fed, Anne og navnet er supergodt! Glæder mig til at se mere til Portobello.
    Jeg har det på samme måde – Helga’s strukturstrikkede prøve i bølgemønster rumsterer rundt i hovedet på mig – den var SÅ fin og ideerne myldrer…. Det var bare så kanonfed en weekend!

    Rigtig spændende “Helga/Stange” eller “Anne/Isager”-model ! ;o))) – Måske kan du sælge designet til firmaet Isager og Isager, når den er færdig ? – Nu får vi vel lov til at følge processen ?!
    – Dejligt, at weekenden var udbytterig på både den ene og den anden måde :o)
    – Anne, jeg håber at du er ved at have fået vejret igen efter den mavepuster…. Nogen gange fatter man ikke helt, hvorfor man står model til den slags… – Håber, at din supervejser har stået klar ?

    Pyh ha! Jeg får sgi da helt klamme hænder ved tanken om, at dette her projekt kan gå galt!
    Nu skal i ikke sætte næserne op efter noget elefantastisk, det er jo bare en lille poncho, ikk’…

    Spændende projekt. Short Row-teknik er der mange muligheder i. Så vidt jeg husker har Knitty også en udmærket tutorial om emnet. Glæder mig til at se din poncho.

    Det er jo nogle helt vildt lækre, klassiske farver! Jeg er sjovt nok også i gang med samme slags kiler, men strikker efter Hyldemors Color Wheel-opskrift…så her bliver der også kilet en masse strikketid ind… *høhøh*
