Laura og jeg har plukket brombær i krattet udenfor haven, ikke mange var modne, men dog nok til en skålfuld, der sammen med et par bløde nektariner nu er topping på en mandelkage.

Peach Melba er jo fersken og hindbær, men de to andre her er vel værdige erstatninger…

Det er efterhånden længe, meget længe siden, at jeg gik på kokkeskolen oppe i Aalborg, men jeg kan stadig huske mange garniture-navne og historier uden ad, også den om den australske sangerinde Nellie Melba, som Escoffier komponerede en dessert til ære for, vanilleis, sukkerpocherede ferskner og hindbærpure.

Kagen dufter himmelsk, og udkonkurrerer faktisk den kraftige duft, der ellers var i alrummet, duften af en god bolognese, der har putret på komfuret siden kl.9, senere i dag skal den transformeres til et kæmpe fad lasagne, som Amanda har fablet om i dagevis.

Hun siger, at hun har drømt om det i nat, og hendes første tanke i morges var dagens menu,
hun glæder sig vist til det bliver aftensmadstid…

    Hmmm, lækkert. Putrende bolognese og tærte. Dejligt, men her i dag er jeg for doven, så den står på pizza fra økopizzariaet og en købeis.

    Her skal der også snart koges bolognese i rigelig mængder. Den slags putre-retter skal man bestemt ikke kimse af! Det er forskellen mellem kødsovs og bolognese!

    Lasagnen blev god, og der blev spist igennem, til mavepinestadiet for noget 🙂

    Tærten blev super-lækker, så blød og fin i smagen, og flot i farverne.
    Måske man skulle lægge opskriften på bloggen…
