Klamme, ulækre, vamle dræbersnegl, ud af min have og mine dahlia’er, ellers skal jeg saft suseme overhælde dig med alle de kemiske ætsende og skrumpende midler jeg kender til!!

Og hvis du så meget som fortæller bare en eneste af dine fætre om alle de herligheder, der er her i haven, så skal jeg sørge for, at det ikke bare er dig, men hele din familie, der bliver udslettet, på bedste Don Corleone-vis!!

Og når det så er sagt, så priser jeg mig lykkelig over, at det kun er en lille forkølet dahlia, der er blevet gnuflet, og at jeg nu ved, at der er dukket slimede brune kryb op i min have, for tænk sig, hvis jeg var draget til Langeland uden at ha’ opdaget det, og så var kommet hjem til en nedbidt have, det havde kostet en tur omkring den lukkede.

Jeg vil iføre mig gummihandsker og så vende hvad der er at vende derude i bedene, og så ellers få hentet et eller andet afskyeligt middel til at udrydde de ulækre typer med.

    SALT. FINT SALT det er midlet. Det får sneglen til at smelte. Og da de andre snegle er ret dumme, skal de lige se hvad det er for en klat smeltet snegl der ligger der, og da de jo også spiser alt, begynder de at sutte på den og bliver selv til en smeltet klat snegl. Og Miljøet, det griner sammen med os andre.

    Jeg iklæder mig handsker og fint salt!
    Men faktisk har jeg kun set den ene, der sad derude og fik sin natmad i aftes…

    men salt er ikke godt for hundepoter, så vidt jeg ved. Men dræbersneglene er endnu ikke nået hen til mig, de mangler 500 meter, det har de gjort i et par år 😉 så jeg håber stadig.

    Sneglefri, nogle små blå korn fra grovvarecentre, byggemarkeder mm…..sneglene æder dem, kravler i skjul og dør…bliver selv ædt af en snegl, som også dør….effektivt på få dage.
    Hvis man klipper, salter mm, så dræber man IKKE de æg, som er i maven på sneglen, eller de snegle, som æder dem!!!

    Jeg har samlet 1.6 kg dræbersnegl fra mine 400 m2 og der er stadig flere…. jeg er der ude hver anden aften, fanger lidt i ølfælden, men langt den sikreste metode er håndplukning. Jeg samler dem i en frysepose, den skal rystes med jævne mellemrum for ellers er de på vej op (adrbvadradr) og til sidst, en solid knude og ind i en til pose, ud i skraldespanden – jeg vil være helt sikker på at de ikke dukker op igen af dybet, derfor to poser. Dagen efter er det en pose slimet splutte, har kigget efter…. kogende vand hjælper ikke helt, den kravler sgu videre og så står jeg altså af. Salt, klamt og pinefuldt, klippe den over fy for den lede. Altså kvælning, måske også pinefuldt, men det er en snegl, en dræbersnegl. HERUT!

    Go get them….. de har ædt hele mit salatbed, DE KRYB….
    Jeg er begyndt at betale mit afkom for at finde og eliminere dræbersnegle: 1 kr pr 100 g….. stor succes ;o)

    Med flere års anciennitet mht sneglejagt (2.år samlede vi 16.000 på en sommer – skrev op hver dag) kan jeg give 2 gode råd: de blå korn = sneglegift strøet rundtom særligt lækre ting såsom salat og saftspændte planter samt udenom hele haven, + vand blandet med 3-dobb. salmiakspiritus i en sprayflaske (sådan en til strygetøj), giften for at spærre adgangen og aflive de modbydelige kræ, og sprayblandingen til dem, man ser, spray dog ikke på græsplænen, det giver gule pletter. Og gå så på jagt sidst på dagen eller med lommelygte om aftenen, der er mange flere, end I tror!!! Brug ikke salt, det skader miljøet og slår planter og træer i hjel.

    Tilføjelse: salmiakspiritus blandes med vand i forhold 1 til 10.

    Grav en gammel skål ned i den ende af haven der er angrebet, lad 1 cm være over jorden (så små biller ikke falder i). hæld så øl i skålen 4 cm. op. Kik næste morgen.
    Ahah dræbersnegle er tørstige og det bliver deres død.:-)))

    Tak for alle de gode råd, og de meget malende beskrivelser 🙂

    I dag har vi ikke kunnet finde nogen,måske var det en vildfaren enlig dræber, der bare havde slået midlertidig lejr i en dahlia?!

    Jeg kigger igen i morgen, vær sikker på det, jeg skal ikke nyde noget!
