Vi bager Rosenbrød, med hvinende sød og lyserød glasur.

Dejen dufter af kardemomme, og har også fået et numodens strejf af citronskal, om lidt er det klar til ovnen, og vi vil glæde os til, at brødstangen er kold nok til en ordentlig lag af rosenglaseringen.

For mig er Rosenbrød et strejf af barndom, men jeg kommer til at tænke på, hvor pokker de mon fik fat på det rosenvand, glasuren var rørt med??
I min barndoms by, eller tid for den sags skyld, var der ingen indvandre-købmand at handle hos…

Jeg har ikke en gammel nedarvet familieopskrift, så der køres på rygraden, men indtil videre ser det ganske udemærket ud, det hele.
Vi har haft en finger i glasuren, den smager lige præcis så sukkersød og eksotisk, som den slags skal gøre…

    Rosenbrød? mums, ren guf, sig lige til, hvis du kommer frem til en god opskrift.
    Mht til strik, afslut en UFO førend du starter på noget nyt, det giver bedre samvittighed i længden
