Med strithår af vinden og rød af et ordentligt svirp af solen på de bare arme er jeg endelig kommet ind, mørket er for tæt nu, og der bliver ikke gjort mere i haven i dag.

Jeg har stort set været ude siden kl.9 i morges, mon ikke jeg kommer til at sove tungt i nat?
Mange timers sol og ind imellem hårdt havearbejde gør naturligt træt, det føles godt, og om lidt, når jord og støv er skrubbet af under den varme piskende bruser, så er jeg klar til sofa og dameblade…Dagen har været hyggelig, den ene søde gæst har afløst den anden, der er blevet sludret en masse, drukket stærke kopper kaffe, strikket og havevandret, det har været en dejlig dag.

I de korte ophold, der har været mellem gæsterne, har jeg nusset med spirer og stiklinge i drivhuset, luget det hvide staudebed og fået sat nogle af de nye planter, der denne sommer skal være med til at gøre haven endnu skønnere.
I morgen skal der nyt gulv i drivhuset, et af træ, jeg kan allerede fornemme, hvordan det vil sende sin gode træduft ud i det lille glashus, når der vandes derinde.
Der skal også hentes og bejses nogle trækasser til at pakke de hvinende hvide flamingo-fætre ind i, jeg har brug for et lidt mere “roligt” udtryk i drivhuset, sort må der til.

Mon ikke også planteskolen lokker?
Jeg vil ha’ et lag af cacaoskaller mellem stauderne, et varmt brunt drys, der kan give glød til den sandede midtjyske hedejord, og så skal der måske køres et træ eller to hjem.

Kun en ting vil jeg pive lidt over, jeg har kun fået strikket den først rapport på Lotus, der gik ged i alle mønsterpindene, når snakken med de kvindelige gæster skulle passes, jeg måtte ind og finde noget automat-strik frem, men det voksede så til gengæld en del.

    Håber at du har sovet godt og er klar til endnu en dejlig dag udendøre. Heroppe nordpå skinner solen og himlen er blå – der er lagt op til en skøn dag i haven.

    En lang dag udenfor, som afsluttes med et dejligt varmt bad…. så får man ikke bedre mulighed for en dejlig nattesøvn. 🙂
