Jeg kan godt li’ ovnmad, sådan noget der passer sig selv, så jeg kan passe lektier, strikketøj og hygge imens.
Farserede peberfrugter er af den slags mad, og det er nærmest en af mine livretter, men det der med at fylde dem, det er en anelse kedeligt.
Og så smager peberfrugterne jo altså også allerbedst, når skindet er lidt branket…

Så derfor er de vendt på hovedet, når jeg laver dem; farsen røres, bredes ud i det ildfaste og alle peberstykkerne presses ned oven i, sådan Johan!

Farsen i dag er rørt med en tiloversbleven portion kolde ris, masser af løg, hvidløg og feta, ajvar, oregano og store æg…Inde i ovnen står der også kartofler og putrer, små halve Rosevalle dryppet med olivenolie og citronsaft og så masser af frisk timian fra haven ovenpå.

Alt er ryddet op og væk, bordet dækket, salaten ordnet, den slags giver ro til et afsnit af Venner sammen med pigerne, og så lige en rapport eller to på Birch, me like…

    De kartofler er jeg nødt til at prøve af i aften! De er meget dekorative at se på om ikke andet.
    Men Anne, kan jeg mon ikke bruge tørret timian?, for det kniber med det friske!!

    What’s not to like!?! Det ser jo rigtigt lækkert ud 🙂

    Jeg er også stor tilhænger af ovnmaden – det kan være så meget, og så er det, som du siger, nemt at gå til og oprydningen er klaret når vi sætter os til bords!

    I aften står den på pastesalatsrest, men imorgen…

    Der kan roligt bruges tørret timian, eller oregano eller rosmarin eller…
    Frit valg på alle hylder 🙂

    I min have ser alle krydderurterne godt ud, Miri, og de har da ellers været frosne så det basker.
    Om ikke længe er der basilikum i drivhuset, det bliver en fest!!

    Og Lene, ideérne er da sådan nogenlunde mine egne, synes jeg, men en kogebog?
    Hvis jeg nogensinde når dertil, hvor jeg synes, at det er en kogebog, der skal forfattes, så skal det være god og ordentlig hverdagsmad, for det er trods alt den slags dage, vi har flest af.

    uhm Anne, det smagte godt, vi har afprøvet vores egen variation over up side down, og den er godkendt:-)
    Ovnretter er nemlig så rare at ha med at gøre.

    Uhaa.. De blev SÅ gode kartoflerne!
    Med et stykke kyllingebryst til og en god salat af rucola, tranebær og græskarkerner.. Og en hvidløgs græskyoghurt!

    Det er sgu da smart at vende farserede peberfrugter på hovedet ! Det må jeg prøve … hvorfor gøre ting besværligt, hvis det kan gøres enkelt !

    Så er opskriften afprøvet – stor succes ! Jeg glemte godt nok både hvidløg og oregano (nåede lige at dryssede oregano henover) – havde ikke noget ajvar, men brugte masser af paprika i stedet for.

    Vi havde besøg af svigerforældrende og min ellers meget småtspisende svigerfar tog hele to portioner !
