Det er godt nok en god ting, at jeg bare købte en enkelt behersket gren af Tsuga’en!
Jeg kunne i virkeligheden sagtens ha’ fundet på at snuppe en kæmpe gren og så ha’ transformeret den til et juletræ, godt jeg ikke gjorde det!!

Jeg forelskede mig i de bløde grønne grene med de mange små kogler, det duftede vidunderligt, det kunne jo bruges til store krukker herinde, til kranse omkring de hvide kirkelys, til de gamle suppeterriner med hyazinter, Tsuga kunne være årets julegrønt…

Og det var det da så, i cirka en uge!

Nu ligger alle nålene på gulve, i vindueskarme, sidder i sokker og tæpper, næsebor og hundepels, det er kun til at grine af, aldrig har jeg set så skaldede grene på så kort tid.
Havde jeg slået Tsuga op i Wikipedia, så havde jeg vidst det på forhånd, men nu fik vi os så et billigt grin!

Der er ikke en eneste nål tilbage på den store gren, der står i bryggerset, ikke én, men alle de fine kogler sidder der stadigvæk, måske kan de bare grene alligevel bruges til noget…

    Hej Anne,

    Prøv i stedet at plante et Tsuga-træ i haven. Det er et dejligt træ. Grenene hænger på den helt rigtige måde, og koglerne er bare søde. Det vokser langsomt, så der går mange år, inden det tager udsigten!

    Sidste år var der er meget smart og trendy blomsterhandler, som solge nogle Tsuga-træer, som på en eller anden måde havde en sygdom, så de blev helt unikke og meget smukke. Jeg kom forbi hans butik mange gange i december, prisen startede ved de 1000 for et træ. Ingen købte, en uge efter kostede de 500 kr, og var begyndt at drysse, ingen købte, ugen efter kostede de 100 kr og var stort set nåleløse. Så klippede han dem op, og solge de smukke grene med deres kogler for 100 kr. pr. styk og de blev flået væk fra butikken. Anne du sidder på en guldmine.

    Ja, det tror jeg da, for jeg har altså mange bare grene!
    Lige nu er de parkeret udenfor, men jeg kunne se, at der var basis for noget lækkert pynteri der, så smidt ud på den hårde måde, det er de ikke, de er bare forvist…
