Ikke af den elektroniske slags, nej sådan god gammeldags post, og sikken en af slagsen, der var post fra USA i dag, fra Malle i Santa Barbara.
Hun kunne ikke ha’ “valgt” en bedre dag til pakken, sådan en blæsende, grå og halvtrist mandag, det var fantastisk at åbne pakken, læse hendes søde brev og pakken den skønne pakke op…

Nu ved jeg også, hvordan Lornas Lace føles, Malle skriver, at hun er storforbruger, det forstår jeg godt!!
Måske er det meget godt, at det først er nu, jeg prøver dette garn, tænk på alle de penge jeg har sparet…

Malle og jeg er gamle spejder-kammerater, der har fundet hinanden igen igennem strik og blog, det er hyggeligt, og jeg nyder at følge hendes liv med garn og barn i Californien.
Jeg har stået på hovedet i en kasse med gamle fotos i dag, jeg ved, at jeg har (haft måske) 25-27 år gamle billeder fra en sjov sommerlejr på Sydfyn med cykeltur til Tåsinge, hvor Malle for alvor gik sukkerkold, og slingrede væk fra vejen og ud på en mark.
Ikke sjovt for hende, overhovedet, men indrømmet, jeg kom til at trække på smilebåndet, da hun lå på marken og stadig holdt fast om styret!

Hun kom dog op på jernhesten igen, fik det bedre efter nogle krus saftevand, så vi igen kunne hjule afsted ud i sommerlandet.

Billeder eller ej, sommerlejren var “hyl”, Malle var med, og i dag kom alle de glade billeder frem på nethinden igen, da jeg læste hendes brev.
Jeg er glad-glad-glad for pakken, der var en alt for stor tak for en flad kuvert, jeg havde sendt den anden vej, en kuvert med noget vi her kan kalde Danish Design, så er der ingen der kan slå os oven i hovedet for det!Først fed af den sort-grå Lorna har været gennem garnvinde og krydsnøgle-apparat, og RPM er på pindene, de skal på fødderne ved Troldhätten i uge 42, så Malles pakke kommer til at varme både hjerte og fødder…
