– hvorfor skulle pigerne op, selv om vi havde spillet Matador til sent??
– hvorfor sprang vi på toget allerede lidt over 8??

For at kommet til Århus og “bygge” bamser, det havde jeg i et øjebliks svaghed lovet mine piger, og i dag skulle det være!
Og jeg vil sige, at det var den helt rigtige disposition, det der med at tage tidligt afsted; vi kom 50 min. før åbningstid og blev familie nr.15 i køen udenfor forretningen.

Faktisk havde vi det rigtigt hyggeligt, pigerne glædede sig vildt, og checkede uret hvert andet minut, de kiggede længselsfuldt ind gennem ruderne, og snakkede frem og tilbage om, hvad der nu skulle købes!
Mor stod for selve bamsen og ét sæt tøj, resten måtte de selv sponsorere..

Amanda er familiens mest passionerede katte-elsker, så det blev selvfølgelig til en leopard, der straks blev døbt Spot, og Laura måtte selvfølgelig eje butikkens blødeste hund, der nu hedder Futte.
Personalet var super børnevenligt, snakkede med børnene og gav sig god tid på trods af menneskehavet, og selv om det er en kæmpe pengemaskine, det koncept, så nød jeg nu at se pigernes strålende ansigter.
Halvanden time tog seancen, og alle mine planer om videre bytur ud i Århus blev skrinlagt, jeg havde ikke mere at gi’ af, havde ellers regnet med forårssko til pigerne, Isager-besøg til mig selv, frokost og almindeligt oseri…

Men nej tak, da vi kom ud af Build-A-Bear styrede jeg direkte mod den første den bedste kaffebar og inhalerede en dobbelt latte, rundede Gad og købte mig en billig, men top inspirerende, tærtebog, og så småløb vi ned og hoppede på toget mod vest!!
På vej til toget passerede vi bamse-himmeriget og de ca 250 (!!!), der stod i kø udenfor, “Go’ Påske” sagde jeg og smilede sødt til de forældre, der allerede så matte og opgivende ud.

Pigerne snakker allerede om, hvad de nu skal købe, når de får sparet lidt op; men næste gang snupper vi en halvkedelig onsdag i strålende sol, så kan det være, at vi er de eneste…

    De åbner den 24. april her i Odense – tror lige jeg venter til det væreste hysteri har lagt sig inden jeg kigger ind 🙂
    Kunne godt forestille mig at jeg “kom til” at bygge en bamse til Rasmus.

    Desværre har jeg også været forbi (kun forbi) en halvkedelig onsdag. Da var der også kø…! Jeg blev straks interesseret, billig tærtebog……?! Mig der elsker tærter. Nu kan du have god samvittighed resten af ferien, en tur i Build-a-Bear den tager altså kegler!

    Jeg priser mig lykkelig over, at mine piger er store, for jeg tror ikke, der er noget, der hedder en halvkedelig onsdag i Build-a-Bear 🙂
    Og jeg har det ikke godt med lange køer, og egentlig heller ikke med den der bamseide.
    Men på den anden side – den glæde, der lyser ud af de små pigers ansigter, den ville også være værd at tage med trods ens egne holdninger.

    Den hedder slet og ret “Tærter”, og er af Sarah Banbery, 49.- kr, og fyldt med opskrifter på både små og store, salt og søde tærter.
    F.eks.Birkestærter med cherrytomater, Tærter med artiskok og pancetta, Tærte med gedeost og timian, Blåbærtærte med leomncurd og så lige Ricottatærte med figner og honning….
    UHM siger jeg bare!!

    De er så søde de bamser.
    Men tålmodighed til at stå i kø? det tror jeg ikke jeg har.
    Albert fik en i dåbsgave – det synes jeg egentlig var en god ide.

    Ih du fredsens – vi var i Bruuns Galleri i dag og passerede en meget lang kø kl. 10:15 og en endnu længer en time senere. Oh gru. 🙂

    Pengemaskine eller ej – Jeg har aftalt med mig selv at Laura og jeg tager toget til Århus og bygger en bamse en “dødkedelig onsdag” engang inden jeg føder! Det er en gave til hende fordi hun – endelig – er begyndt at sove hele natten i EGEN seng!! (Det var garanteret også på tide!!)
