Da jeg stod og var ved at få styr på den næste uges madplan, spurgte jeg Laura, om der var noget specielt, hun havde lyst til.

“Ja, det er det faktisk, du ved det der, hmmmmm, det der grønne stads vi spiser til nytår, åhhhh hva’ hedder det nu, du ved det der, mor, grøn-et-eller-andet?!”

Ja, det ved jeg da, grønlangkål!

Så det skal vi så ha’ i aften sammen med en god og saftig hamburgerryg, men vi vælger den nemme vej og snupper nogle frosne grønkålsbolde som basis, det er vist hvad jeg kan svinge mig op til.

Det må være kuldegraderne og vintermørket der er på spil igen, det tuner os ind på de der tunge retter, der mætter længe og grundigt; jeg troede egentlig kun at det bed på os halvgamle, og det kan man vel dårligt kalde en 12-årig for.

Men lidt mærkelig kan man vel godt kalde hende, når hun sådan ligefrem efterspørger kål-retter…

    Så har min også altid været underlig 🙂 han elsker spinat kogt med fløde, et par gode fed hvidløg og masser groft peber, selvfølgelig til en hamburgerryg.
    Rigtig velbekommen, jeg kunne nu godt være med også.

    Uhhm, jeg kigger forbi, vi kan vist hurtigt blive mange. Vi fik sønderjysk hvidkål, kartofler og gode frikadeller forleden. kærligst Mette

    Jeps – og det er så sjældent, at vi får den slags at spise. Derfor nyder vi det endnu mere! Forleden inviterede mormor på mormor-mad – stegt flæsk og persillesovs! Ren lykke.

    Jeg kan altså godt forstå din datter Laura, grønlangkål er jo ikke noget man får så tit, og nu er det snart sæson. Måske har hun tidsbestemte smagsløg?

    Mums sønderjysk grønlangkål – og så med de rigtige, gode kålpølser til. Det er godt. Ingen af mine piger kan lide det – desværre. Til gengæld er ældste begyndt at plage for igen at få muslinger – på belgisk vis med gode fritter til. Og det er nu heller ikke så ringe endda!

    Apropos mærkelige børn – så blev jeg så glad i går, da Frederikke, 10 år, udbrød “hvor ER det flot!”, da hun fik øje på mit overskårede rødkålshoved. Jeg elsker den slags spontane bemærkninger, som hun er så god til med sin madglæde. I øjeblikket har hun et stort ønske om at smage “mærkelige” blæksprutter. Det var efter, at hun så Harry tilberede blæksprutter med farmand.

    Uhm jeg glæder mig til at skulle have grønlangkål snart igen. Mine unger er også mærkelige, de spiser det meste også kål. Jeg har brugt det princip, at de som små, kun spiste det de havde lyst til – når de bliver større spiser de alting frivilligt 😉

    Gad vide, om der ikke ryger grønlangkål på nogle middagsborde i de kommende uger 😉

    Det smagte forrygende, og jeg glæder mig til at spise rester i dag; pigerne springer over siger de, men så må de jo ha’ en portion havregrød, for jeg skal i alle tilfælde at kold hamburgerryg med sprøde brasede kartofler og grønlangkål, slurb!!

    vidunderligt at bare nogle børn kan lide grønlang kål…sidder og samligner opskrifter her på net og er en anelse misfornøjet over at det i vores familie tager 2 til 3 hele dage og nætter at lave grønlangkål….og at jeg er nød til at gøre det når børnene er hos deres far … stank.. åh den stank siger de men det tager de dage det tager og alt lugter af grønkål i flere dage… det er jo kun den ene gang om året vi laver det …stank eller ikke stank jeg æææææææælsker det
