Torben havde i går sat et lille notat på min huskeseddel til årets julestue-invitation, jeg havde skrevet d.24.12., der ville nok ha’ været en del afbud!
Heldigvis havde jeg ikke skrevet invitationerne, eller endnu værre, klippet og klistret pynt på, fejlen er rettet nu, og invitationerne klar…

Julestuen i år er den fjerde af slagsen her i huset, nærmer sig vel noget man kan kalde en tradition, i alle tilfælde, hvis man spørger pigerne.
Vi holder det den sidste lørdag i november, og deltagerne er pigernes venner og deres mødre, ca.25 ialt.

Jeg havde egentlig mine egne veninder og deres børn i tankerne, da jeg gik og planlagde den første julestue, men er rigtig glad for, at pigerne kom på idéen med deres venner plus mødre; det er dejligt at være sammen med de voksne, i hvis hjem mine piger kommer meget, og vi får altid nogle rigtig gode og hyggelige snakke hen over klippe-klistre-filte-male-modellere-bordet…

Jeg lægger hus og langbord til, resten sørger de inviterede for!
Alle medbringer noget mad til et fælles brunchbord, jeg skriver et ønske på invitationen, og så er der et bredt og godt udvalg af lækkerier.
En medbringer et frugtfad, en anden 25 hjemmebagte boller, en tredie en lækker ost, og sådan i den dur; det er overskueligt for den enkelte, og dejligt for os alle, når bordet bugner.

Alle har også et stykke julepynt med, rettere en proto-type og så en stak materialer, så alle vi andre også kan fremstille et eksemplar, og vi er nået vidt omkring.
Der er lavet sprællemænd, fimo-snemænd og filtet pynt til juletræet, vi har fremstillet julekort, lavet gammeldags papirlanterner og flettet de smukkeste hjerter.

Hele bordet flyder med sakse, lim, flot papir, hvide fjer og tyl, der skabes og snakkes, julebarometeret ryger i vejret.
Vi bager også en stak pebernødder og slutter sidst på eftermiddagen med hyldebær-æble-gløgg og beundring af alle kreationerne.Vi glæder os til om 14 dage…

    I skal være velkomne begge to 🙂

    Mette, udklippet er fra en ægte 60’er tapetrulle, købt for 5.- kr.
    Jeg har bestemt mig for at købe mange flere, for det vil også være super flot at pakke gaver ind i, og så for 5 kroner, det er et fund!!

    Vi har også “Åbent hus” hvert år med julehygge, men om vi lige når det i år, tvivler jeg på. Traditionen er ellers enormt hyggelig. Naboer, venner og familie falder forbi i løbet af dagen og vi servere løbende – vi elsker det 🙂

    Der er ikke noget så godt som traditioner! Og denne her er da superhyggelig – og en god juletradtion bør ligge i novemember! Selv om jeg ikke har specielt mange juletraditioner, så bliver jeg meget hektisk inden i hovedet i løbet af december måned, så jeg hylder novembers juletraditioner.

    Jeg mangler ord, hvor får du energien fra? du laver altid så mange flotte ting. Det er en god tradition du har lavet og rigtig fint, at den ligger i november. Måske….
