I dag, da jeg kom tilbage til min kontorpind efter en uges fravær, stod der en lille silkepapirsforet æske på mit skrivebord.

Til Anne –

stod der skrevet med ukendt håndskift på en lille syregul Post-it.

Inden i lå en vintage julekugle med hulning, farvestrålende og sart på den måde, som kun gammelt kan være.

Og da jeg så den, så vidste jeg helt præcis, hvem der havde stillet den lille æske på bordet…

Det kunne kun være én –

nemlig min nye skrivebordsnabo, der er startet i hurlumhej-instituttet for bare en måned siden.

Hun er en vidunderlig kvinde, fyldt med viden og tons af praksiserfaring, varm og hjertelig og et rigtigt godt menneske.

Vi sidder i et gammelt påklædningsværelse sammen, i skunken af den gamle borgmesterbolig, i et lille mørkt kontor, men for pokker, hvor vi hygger os med det.

Vi fylder det lille hummer med masser af faglig snak, men har også hjørner, der er beregnet til samtaler om personlige temaer, om kærlighed, om strik, om mad og om glæden ved genbrug…

I dag skulle jeg så glædes med en lille kugle, som var købt lige til mig, fordi jeg havde fortalt om min farmors gamle af slagsen.

Om lige dem med fordybningerne i, som jeg var så fascineret af, da jeg traskede rundt om barndommens juletræ i mine fine laksko og med krøllerne i fri dressur.

Dengang for længe siden, da jeg bare var en lille splint.

Det er jeg ikke mere –

nu er jeg nærmere en stor kævle.

Men glæden ved kugler med hul er intakt og det havde min nye sidemakker fanget.

Er hun ikke bare for skøn?

Det synes jeg i alle tilfælde!

Og jeg vil glæde mig rigtigt meget til at finde den helt rigtige plads til min nye pynt.

    Hurra, for dejlige kollegaer – og vintage julekugler. Jeg har selv nogle af disse julekugler på lager fra min morbrors barndomshjem, og jeg knus elsker dem.

    Lige nøjagtig sådan en kugle var også en del af min barndom, jeg har den endnu, blot i mindre stykker, altså kuglen 😉

    Når man kigger ind i sådan en julekugle spejler julelysene sig og laver mønstre som i et kalajdoskop:)

    Den slags mennesker er helt vidunderlige – dem der lytter og husker. Husker at man godt kan lide smukke, gamle julekugler.

    Min mor har vist sådan en fin kugle liggende endnu …. De var bare de fineste, næsten som diamanter inde i midten…suk 🙂

    Hvor er det en skøn kollega du har, hun ved lige hvad der gør dig glad, og gør det skønt at komme tilbage på arbejdet, nu vil du sende hende en tanke hver gang du ser den smukke kugle på juletræet. Jeg har selv en klokke i samme stil fra min farmor og farfar, og hver gang jeg ser den, sender jeg dem en kærlig tanke.

    Tænk at være beriget med en kollega der i den grad har sans for at glæde andre og forstår hvad du lige præcis vil blive rigtig glad for.
    Kuglen er smuk, jeg husker dem også fra min barndom, måske det er i år jeg skal se om jeg kan lokke dem fra min moder der har dem fra sin mor – forskudsarv kunne man vel kalde det?

      Jeg er heldig, Anne, hver dag at kunne være sammen med mennesker, der tager vare på hinanden på allerbedste vis.

      Og lok du bare med din mor, hun har sikkert mange kugler og kan nok se idéen i, at dine piger kan se de gamle kugler på jeres eget træ…
