Vi driver den ikke af for tiden, masser af småprojekter står i kø og to-do-listerne er alenlange, så vi er tidligt oppe og i gang.

Haven knokles igennem med forårsklargøring, nyetablering og drivhusrens, den lange hæk luges, dog uden deltagelse af poderne, der på mystisk vis er forsvundet. Havehuset tømmes og gøres klar til mange hyggelige sommerdage med tid til daseri, potter skures og gøres klar til nye sommerblomster og terrassen spules og skrubbes for alger.

Der er arbejde nok her, også uden de ting, som begynder at presse sig på i forhold til næste weekends udskejelser, men de må lige vente lidt endnu…

Alt det fysiske knokleri kræver solid kost i maven, så fra ovnen sprang denne morgen vores egen udgave af brusebadsboller og efter bare en enkelt af dem, så er vi kørende på forplejningsfronten indtil det bliver frokost.

Frugt og kaffe er klar til løbende indtagelse, for der er ikke tid til at få mange pauser i hvilestilling, hvis vi skal igennem de mange meter bøgehæk.

Vi elsker de grove boller, pigerne og jeg, men ikke Torben, de er for langhårede og klidmosteragtige til hans borgerlige mave, han nyder helst bagerens totalt kønsløse og energifattige hvide brød. Men fred være med det, så er der da mere af det gode til os andre, og jeg henter gerne et bagerbrød til manden min, hvis det kan gøre humøret på en søndag morgen fredeligt og velvilligt.

Men vi kan alligevel ikke helt lade være med at komme med dumme og lettere hånlige kommentarer til hans brød valg, Amanda langede i morges denne her over bordet:

Den skive der, far, er altså ikke brød, det er en pålægsholder!!

Han må stå model til lidt af hvert, ham der garanteret er sulten igen lige om et øjeblik…

    Det er vist et spørgsmål om tilvending, hvis det ellers er muligt. Min mand har også været mest til det hvide af slagsen, men nu kan han lide når jeg laver groft brød (som jo også smager af langt mere). Den var god den med pålægsholderen, den skal jeg huske…

    Jeg tror lige der er en opskrift der, der skal hugges og afprøves herhjemme. Den eneste hurtige opskrift jeg har er på hvedeboller og det spiser jeg jo helst ikke, så måske kunne jeg så nyde lidt andet end mit ristede rugbrød 🙂
