Anne, far, farmor og oldemor…

Og ved du så hvad, lille Annemone…

Min lille gamle farmor har fødselsdag i dag, 94 er hun nået til, det er alligevel noget, og selv om hun efterhånden er lillebitte og skrøbelig, så er hun stadig den samme seje farmor inden under alt det, der ser så gammelt og træt ud.

Vi har selvfølgelig været hos hende i dag, krammet livet halvvejs ud af hende, aet hende på de nysatte lokker og grinet af de pusseløjerlige ting, der ind imellem ryger afsted fra damens ellers meget meget pæne Roskilde-mund…

Farmor og jeg har altid været tætte, det var hos hende og farfar, at min far og jeg tilbragte mange af vores weekender sammen, dengang han endnu var ung og studerende og boede i en kælderlejlighed i Århus; der var ikke godt at være for os to sammen, syntes han, det var langt bedre at tilbringe stille og varme dage hos hans forældre.

Jeg er blevet sovset ind i kærlighed og tid og overskud hos farmor, der ofte sukkede over, at det var mormor, der havde mig til at bo hos sig til daglig; jeg var, og er nok stadig, farmors øjesten, og det bånd, der er mellem os, blev stærkt til det ubrydelige, da min far døde alt for ung.

Jeg har så mange vidunderlige minder fra mange dage med farmor, hendes sommerhave og glæde ved blomsterne, hendes gode fortællinger fra hendes barndomstid i Roskilde, det er rendyrket Matador, hendes ro og rummelighed, hendes skarpe intellekt og hendes kærlighed til bøger og smuk musik, og selvfølgelig også alle hendes historier om min far, som jeg fik lov at kende alt for kort…

Jeg har svært ved at slippe farmor, når det er tid at drage hjem, jeg kan næsten ikke klare det uden våde øjne, for jeg ved, at når man er 94, så er man ved at ha’ brugt sin tid her, og det er fair nok, men det er svært for mig at tænke på, at den dag hun er væk, så er der ingen tilbage, der husker barndommens dage sammen med mig mere, ingen mor, ingen far, ingen søskende, ingen bedsteforældre, og det kan altså føles tungt at vide.

Men det skal ikke lægge bare den mindste dæmper på en herlig dag, som den i dag, hvor hun den ene gang efter den anden sendte små gode bemærkninger hen over middagsbordet, bemærkninger der fik mine piger til at knække sammen af grin og mig til at udbryde et lille forskrækket “Farmor da!”

Faktisk er jeg temmelig sikker på, at mit ansigtsudtryk matchede nedenstående, da hun i dag omtalte sin hjemmehjælper som en “gokke-nok”, det siger en pæn dame altså ikke om sin søde og flittige hjælper, eller…

    Sikke dejlige ord – og billeder. Den lille detalje med elastikkerne på brillestængerne…åh ja…
    De vidner vi har til vores tidlige liv kan aldrig erstattes af mennesker, der entrer scenen senere, og når det tynder ud i vidneskranken smerter det. Også selvom man ved, det er livets gang.
    Jeg håber, du får lov at beholde farmor en god tid endnu.

    Faktisk hver eneste dag tænker jeg på hvor stor betydning mine bedsteforældre har haft i mit liv….specielt min bedste (farmor) som jeg aldrig nogensinde har hørt sige et ondt ord om nogen. Vitterligt! Og hendes lille, arbejdsomme krop som så virkede så skrøbelig, men alligevel indeholdt en styrke uden lige.

    Hende savner jeg så meget og jeg kan til fulde følge den store kærlighed til din farmor. Hun lyder til at være ganske vidunderlig….
