Ventesal... Restaurant...Nogle timers arbejde i går i selskab af en handlekraftig veninde fik sat skik på de indledende julerier.

Faktisk mangler der bare en kæmpe flok håndklippede snefnug i vinduerne og så er der vist styr på det inden døre.

 

Perron og togvognen skal også jules til, men der er stadig dage at tage af og først skal rekvisitterne skaffes til huse, vi er ude i noget med rigtigt mange appelsinkasser og nogle store graner med klump. Lyskæder skal der også til og tænk hvis der også kunne komme et fint lag sne. Det ville ligesom sætte den helt perfekte scene…

 

Jeg sidder og bestiller de første varer til næste uges hurlumhej, det kræver lidt hovedregning og lidt is i blodet, et par tusinde gode mennesker plejer at finde vej til stationen i de åbne juleweekends og det kræver sådan set ret mange varer på lager at kunne servicere sådan en flok.

I går regnede vi på gløgg-mængde, det virkede fuldstændig vanvittigt med de mange hundrede liter, jeg blev nærmest lidt svimmel af det, endda uden overhovedet at sniffe det mindste til snapsen og de sprængfarlige rosiner.

Jeg ville lyve, hvis jeg skrev, at jeg ikke var den mindste smule nervøs for hvordan det hele spænder af, men inderst inde ved jeg godt, at der er styr på, jeg skal bare lige i gang igen.

 

Og så er det jo først i næste uge ikk’ at det sådan bliver helt tosset, i denne uge er det de indledende øvelser og de første to dejlige selskaber, som jeg glæder mig til at byde indenfor i en nysselig stationsbygning.

    Det er bare så smukt, naturligt og stemningsfyldt. Jeg håber at du holder ud på stationen længe, længe så “lillen” i huset kan vokse sig stor og klar til restaurantbesøg med dig ved roret sådan en julemåned.

    Hvor ser det bare hyggeligt ud. Jeg var forbi sidst i oktober, men turde ikke køre ind da der stod en masse mennesker. Og da jeg havde læst du havde lukket for sæsonen, vurderede jeg at det nok var et selskab og ville ikke forstyrre. Håber jeg kommer forbi igen en anden dag.
