To nepalesiske kvinder har sørget for, at jeg kan smykke mit efterårstøj med smukke uldne brocher.

Hver for sig eller sammen sørger brocherne for en lille farveklat på brunt eller gråt.

Jeg ved at pengene, som jeg har betalt for den fine pynt, bliver fragtet tilbage til Nepal og bliver brugt på fornuftig vis.

Jeg ved, at man rundt omkring på det vidunderlige net kan finde gode anvisninger på, hvordan man laver de små uldne hjul.

    De er så fine. Jeg har været forelsket i dem fra jeg så den første DIY for snart mange år siden men har aldrig fået lavet nogle. Måske skulle man springe ud i et køb i stedet for som du så rigtigt skriver så er det også en dejlig fornemmelse at det gavner.

    Hav en dag med fuld knald på farverne.

    Ja de nepalesiske kvinder har sikkert mange af de samme tanker og bekymringer som vi- men det der slog mig rigtig meget efter at jeg i efteråret 2003 kom hjem fra en måned i Nepal, var at vores valg af ny termokande fordi den har et lækkert design, eller lignende overskuds”problemer” var ikke eksisterende derude. Altså- hvor mange termokander er det lige vi behøver- i forskellige designs.. jeg elsker smukke ting ingen tvivl om det- men jeg følte at mit hjem og liv var overfyldt med ting da jeg kom hjem efter en måned i en rygsæk under enkle forhold. (og det er det stadigt!) I de nepalesiske hjem jeg så var der funktionelle ting- altså det værktøj man havde behov for i hjemmet- og havde råd til og adgang til.

    Nå men noget helt andet- jeg kan se at T.I.N.G. er en af de få forhandlere som “kantipurprojektet” har- nu har jeg langt til Silkeborg- men en netbutik med de ting der ikke er så store kunne da helt klart sammen med historien om brocherne sælge en del?
