Juletræet er slæbt ind fra carporten, hvor det har stået strunkt og stivfrosset de sidste par dage, nu står det og drypper i bryggerset og kattene leger gemmeleg i grenene.

I morgen kan pigerne pynte og gøre ved, jeg overlader det trygt til dem, de har før vist, at de er ganske ferme ud i fordeling af klenodier fra juletræskassen…

Tæerne er også sat til optøning, vi har været i Viborg og købe julegaver og det var koldt, rigtigt koldt, og vi sidder nu med røde kinder og kolde næser og venter på, at varmen vender tilbage til de dele af kroppen, der har protesteret over strøgtur og pakkeslæbning.

Senere er der gang i spiseklubben, i dag hos byens præst, vi glæder os til det gode selskab og også over, at hun tager sig tiden til at ha’ os, når  hendes travleste arbejdsuge ligger lige foran hende.

Børnene, hvis vi da kan kalde de lange kompetente 14-årige det, laver maden og vi gamle sørger for at holde snakketøjet i gang og får nok styr på cirka den halve verden, inden vi skilles igen.

Og er tæer og næser stadig kolde på det tidspunkt, så er jeg i alle tilfælde helt sikker på, at hjerterne er det modsatte.

Gode timer i dejligt selskab kan få selv den mest forfrosne til at mærke varmen brede sig…

    God idé med optøning af træ…. det havde jeg vist ikke tænkt på, hvis jeg ikke havde læst dit indlæg….. så havde jeg nok haft træ med sø på tæppe i løbet af kort tid 🙂 Man bliver klogere af det her blogland….. Dejlig med madordning, hvor maden endda bliver lavet til en… Det er den slags ordninger, der kan få julemåneden til at glide…

    Det lyder til at du er i bedring – mon du så også husker at passe på dig selv, nu hvor der igen er lidt energi på kontoen ? Det er overtrækket på den konto, der kan give mavekneb m.m. – Sagt af en der er formidabel til at køre med overtræk på energikontoen og glemmer at der skal betales renter……

      Nu er vores tøet, Mie, men juletræsfoden er forsvundet!

      Jeg har det bedre, men der skal ikke meget til, før jeg får vand i øjnene og ondt i maven, det bliver stille stille juleferie her hos mig.
      Og pas du så også lige lidt på dig selv…

    Ja, det er godt nok koldt idag. Jeg opgave at købe juletræ, og det var nok ikke så klogt, for det er vel ikke bedre i morgen. Udvalget er bare mindre. Men det er ikke til at se det for dig, når det ligner en frossen pind….

      Nej, Eva, man kan godt blive snydt en anelse, hvis der er alt for meget sne på træet.
      Jeg håber, at du finder et smukt et af slagsen i dag.

      Og at du har taget masser af tøj på, for det er da koldere end det var i går…

      Det ER rigtigt hyggeligt, Anne, vi nyder de aftener.
      Børnene behøver stort set ingen hjælp til madlavning, og det betyder jo at vi andre får snakket en del.

      Og så var det helt perfekt, at det var hos præsten lige her op til jul 🙂

    Dejligt selskab kan man aldrig få for meget af. Det lyder rigtig hyggeligt med jeres spiseklub. Vi har også en månedlig spiseklub med vores naboer og bedste venner (de er én og samme familie). Det er sådan en god og uhøjtidelig møde at mødes på.

    Og du har endda fået gaver – i cykelkurven – fra en hjerteven. Hvor er det dejligt for jer at i fandt hinanden. 🙂

      Det må være helt vidunderligt, Ulla.

      Hjertevenner er balsam for sjæl og liv, jeg sætter utroligt stor pris på de jeg har, og forsøge at værne om dem.

    God ide med optøning, vores træ står nu endelig på fod efter en times saven og en tur med hammer og mejsel, ja sikke en stamme, og så lille et hul i juletræsfoden… Pyha… så nu er det klar til pyntning i morgen 🙂
