Man kan være frankofil og anglofil, er man mon så en greece-geek, når man bare ikke kan få nok af Grækenland??
I så fald, så må Sophie være vip-medlem i den loge, for jeg kender få som hende, der er så fuldstændig og aldeles vilde med Grækenland!
I disse dage kommer der sms’er fra Lesbos, små beskeder om vejret, stranden og ikke mindst maden, hun er lykkelig derned i det græske…

Hver eneste gang vi snakker ferie, så siger skønjomfruen:

“Jamen, hva’ med Grækenland?
Vi kunne ta’ på ø-camping, eller måske låne et hus på Skyros?? Kom nuuuuu, jeg trænger sådan til at komme til Grækenland!
Morgenmaden, mor, tænk på morgenmaden, med den gode honning på yoghurten og vindruerne til, ja og fetaen oss’, åhh sig nu ja!”

Nu tjener hun heldigvis sine egne penge, og behøver ikke plage livet af os andre, der har en del flere faste udgifter, end hende; nu kan hun selv betale og rejse til Grækenland i tide og utide, lige som det passer hende…

Næste nat blev Skyros rystet voldsomt af et jordskælv, der sendte kampesten ned af bjergene, resten af dagene på den ferie blev der hylet og tigget, man ville hjem, og Grækenland mistede sin charme for en stund.

De dage er gået i glemmebogen, næsten da, og Grækenland er STEDET igen, jeg glæder mig på hendes vegne, hun har fortjent denne ferie, og så godter jeg mig stille over, at hun er rejst afsted på græsk ø-ferie med kæresten; jeg havde sovet dårligt om natten, hvis det havde været med en håndfuld veninder og Ung Rejser!

Men derfor glæder jeg mig nu alligevel til at se hendes solbrune fjæs igen, hende min store pige…

    åhhh skønne dejlige farlige Grækenland. Mine piger bliver forbudt adgang til dette paradis når de når den drengemodne alder. Som flere Silkeborgpiger, havde jeg også en kæreste i Grækenland og bosatte mig midlertidig på Skyros (og Athen i vinterhalvåret). Dejlige grækenland, åhhh hvor jeg længtes. Nu ikke efter drømmemanden, ham har jeg fundet og endda på Midtfyn, men efter alt det som din Sofie jo også drømmer om. Den græske morgenmad – næste år, inden pigerne bliver for store med de fare der så er til stede.

    Når du nu er Silkeborg-pige og har boet på Skyros, ja så kender du vel Elin, Andreas og Lone fra Zorba og alle de andre fra græker-slænget i Silkeborg?!
    Nu sidder jeg jo og tænker på, om jeg i virkeligheden ved hvem du er, for jeg har boet i Silkeborg fra ’90 til 02, hmmm…

    jep dem kender jeg og marianne og kristine og Christos. Jeg var kærster med mariannes kærestes bedste ven, Nikos. Du ved marianne og christos der har baren, argh hvad pokker hedder den, med den stor grønne dør, lige før man går op på toppen af bjerget?
    Næææ hvor jeg pludselig savner det sted.
    Jeg flyttede fra Silkeborg i ’89 men har stadigvæk en stor venindekreds der bor der.

    Hej Anne
    Jeg sidder og leder efter information om Skyros på nette – og kommer ind på din side.
    Vi – en familie på 4, børnene er 13 og 15 – planlægger at rejse dertil til sommer, vi kommer med bil. Vi er garvede grækenlandsfarere, men har aldrig været på Skyros før. Kan du eller din datter anbefale et overnatningssted? Vi kræver ikke stor luksus, og det behøver ikke at være voldsomt stort. Vi har fået anbefalet området Magazia, som et godt sted hvorfra man rimeligt let kan gå op til hovedbyen om aftenen, men du kan måske anbefale noget andet.
