I de sidste par år har jeg strikket mig igennem kilomangemetervis af merino, alpaca og mohair. Meter efter meter har bevæget sig hen over mine strikkepinde og der er strikket masser af baby- og småbarnstøj og også gode bluser til mine piger. Blødt blødt strik med lidt fluff ind imellem.

Jeg har ikke fået strikket ret meget til mig selv, det er som om, at andres behov for hjemmestrik har skubbet mig ud af listen over projekterne, frivilligt selvfølgelig men alligevel er der nu lige et lille stik af savn efter en opdateret strikket bunke trøjer i egen størrelse. Jeg har tænkt mig at gøre noget ved det – NU! Og det skal være i ulden uld, sådan noget, som lige stikker en lille bitte smule på den rare måde og som har været igennem en ikke så lang forarbejdningsproces, det trænger jeg til. Ulden uld.

Jeg gider egentlig at strikke i det meste, hvis vi fortrænger bomuld altså, men jeg er altid allermest tilpas, når jeg har en form for lammeuld på pindende, strukturen i garnet er lige præcis den, som jeg holder allermest af, og hvis en enkelt af trådene i garnet oven i købet er farvet på gråt uld, så er jeg nærmest helt lykkelig. Om det er Højlandsulden fra Garnudsalg, Tvinni eller højlandsuld fra Isager, Sanne Fjallands lidt kraftigere lammeuld eller et helt andet mærke, det kommer sig ikke så nøje, det er alt sammen garn, som jeg holder af og som gør mig glæde ved at strikke endnu større. På pindene er der lige nu en hjemmekomponeret cardigan til mig selv, jeg er dog lidt skeptisk overfor den lidt fyldige pasform, som jeg har fået lavet oppe omkring ærmegabene, så måske er det en ommer, det taler jeg lige lidt med mig selv om. Og mens jeg bliver færdig med at overveje, om den skal trævles op eller om jeg snupper den, som den er, så hviler den sig i strikkeposen og jeg kigger lidt til den hver dag og strikker på andre projekter i stor og lille størrelse så længe.

Jeg har slået op til lille Feather Scarf, som jeg fik foræret til en herlig strikkelørdag hos https://sannefjalland.dk for snart en lille måneds tid siden. Jeg kan se, at enkelte af de andre uldne kvinder, som jeg delte den fine lørdag med, er i mål med deres tørklæde og deres fine resultater har ikke gjort min lyst til at kunne slå et Feather om halsen mindre.

Man begynder med 818 (ottehundredeatten – jøsses) masker og strikker sig en fin fjerbort over ikke så mange pinde og halvvejs igennem borten begynder man at tage ind, derefter er det så bare retstrik og venderækker. Det bliver så smukt. I ulden uld.

Jeg havde ikke en pind, der var helt lang nok og egentlig heller ikke helt spids nok, men da den nu er skaffet til huse, så går det nemmere med de mange mange masker og de drejede vrang. Tørklædet er i proces og det samme er jeg, en rejse tilbage til det mere rolige strik, hvor jeg ikke bare speeder igennem projekterne, jeg trænger til lidt rar og beroligende langsommelighed og det får jeg her…

Laura har allerede skævet lidt forelsket til tørklædet, jeg må være standhaftige og holde fast i det, når det hopper af pindene, men på en måde kan det jo godt være lidt vanskeligt, når jeg nu selv har videregivet glæden ved at bære håndstrik til alle mine piger, jeg ser dem jo gerne indsvøbt i strik fra top til tå. Og indtil videre er det kun Amanda, der for alvor har grebet pindene selv.

Og det er vel egentlig forståeligt nok, når de andre to faktisk bliver forsynet fra moderens pinde.

Men hvad var det lige jeg startede med at skrive?! At jeg savnede en opdateret stak strik i eget skab! Og nu er jeg allerede ved at forære tørklædet væk i tankerne. Jamen Jøsses altså Anne S.

      Her er jo faktisk helt godt at være, Mie, jeg har savnet det, men det mærker jeg for alvor først nu, hvor jeg sidder ved tasterne igen. Kran tilbage.

      Jeg har heldigvis set tørklædet live og kan derfor fastholde mig selv. Og om 4-5 pinde, så har jeg kun 338 masker og en masse retriller tilbage.
      Og tak – jeg er så glad for at ha’ fundet overskud til at skrive igen.

    Helt enig med dine betragtninger om uldent uld. Vender altid tilbage til højland/supersoft, og kan sagtens finde på at konvertere opskrifter med blødere garn. Har du set, at der kommer et nyt hæfte fra Susie Haumann om et par dage?
    Og hurra fordi du er tilbage igen. Læste altid din blog og beundrede din åbenhed og evne til at sætte ord på livet.
