Årets anden buket syrener er høstet og båret ind og står nu og sender velduft ud i rummene.
Jeg elsker den duft.
Når den når næseborene, så er det altså sommer!

Duften sniger sig ind af vinduerne til mit værelse om aftenen og sammen med fuglenes sene godnattriller fortæller den mig, at nu er det nu, at på trods af byger, grå dage og kølige briser, ja så er det altså nu, at vi har sommer i Danmark.
På fredag vil kalenderen også sige det og jeg er klar til at lytte…

Jeg er kommet hjem før aftensmadslavning i dag og er efter en haverunde sunket ned ved spisebordet med ostemad og varm Rosabaya i koppen.
Sommermusik fra Café del Mar strømmer fra You Tube og mine bare vipper i takt under bordet.

Jeg er i ro, fredelig i både krop og sjæl, lidt mat efter en hektisk dag og en udsigt til aftenarbejde ved computeren, men jeg nyder øjeblikket og lader som om, at jeg har al den tid i verden, som jeg har lyst til at ha’.

Bladrer i dameblade og drømmer mig til Ibiza, sender en hyggelig tanke til Tanja Ting, som bor der og laver sine smukke smykker, jeg følger hende på Instagram og får altid lidt rejsefeber, når jeg ser hendes douchede fotos af øens landskaber.

En tur derned ville være toppen, men det bliver ikke denne sommer og pyt –
hvis Danmark bliver ved med at vise sig fra sin smukke side, så støver jeg mine gamle lounge cd’er af og laver min egen strandcafé på verandaen.

    Syrendag, ja kære et cetera.
    Jeg har kun en lille forkølet dværg af slagsen i en potte på altanen, – der trofast har blomstret hvert år siden jeg købte den for 10 år siden, da jeg blev alene, og måtte forlade en have med mange syrener.
    Klippede den ret hårdt ned sidste år, og troede ikke der var liv eller håb, men selv om den ikke bliver passet med ny jord eller kærlighed, ja, så står der en enkelt gren med blade, og en miniblomst atter i år.
    Og så glædes jeg igen.
    Tak for knus forleden, modtaget og gemt.

    Syrener er bestemt sommerens duft! Da jeg var mindre og cyklede Skagen tynd, havde jeg altid en nyplukket ved styret (der hvor nefa-lygten sad)
    Faktisk har jeg en fin kaffekop fra Closerie de lilas, Paris. Med syren på….
    Når hybenrosen blomster, så ved jeg sommeren er her. De 2 dufte er ultimative i min verden:-)
