I går eftermiddags vendte vi snuden mod Djursland for at være med til at fejre min onkels fødselsdag, kæmpe familie tam-tam i sommerhuset med mine kusiner og deres børn, hygge og snak, leg og tummel i masser af festlige timer.

Vi var klar, var vi, og fik derfor en meget underlig fornemmelse indeni, da der bare holdt én enkelt bil foran sommerhuset, en bil som vi oven i købet ikke kendte.

Meget underligt?!

Det skal siges, at arrangementet var sådan en slags “kom-når-det-passer-jer-bedst-hen-over-hele-dagen” og vi havde meldt, at vi ville deltage i den sidste del af dagen, aftensmad og sådan.

Så måske var alle de andre bare kørt igen – eller…

Rundt om hushjørnet kommer så den store buldrende Onkel, der kigger forundret på os og råber:

“Hva’ fa’en – kommer i NU?”

“Øh ja – det skrev jeg i den sidste mail! At vi ville komme til aftensmad!”

“Ja, det læste jeg godt, men jeg regnede da sådan set med at i kom samme dag som alle de andre – i morgen altså!!”

Jeg kan godt li’ at være i god tid, bliver ret stresset, hvis jeg kan se, at jeg er ved at komme for sent, men 24 timer i god tid, det er alligevel en anelse for meget!

Om jeg var til grin i går?

JA!!

Om jeg vil blive punket det næste laaaange stykke tid?

JA!!

Vil det blive nævnt igen og igen og igen?

JA, ja og 3 gange ja…

Vi vendte ikke om i indkørsel og kørte hjem igen, vi holdt bare en mindre middag end planlagt, og værten tog det hele ovenfra og ned, han sendte niecen i køkkenet for at lave aftensmaden og så hyggede han ellers med gran-niecerne og fortalte dem historier om deres slægt.

Senere ankom 3 af kusinerne med deres familier, de havde bestemt at overnatte i sommerhuset, så de kunne være klar fra morgenstunden, så vi nåede at se dem, nåede at sippe lidt vin og få vendt en hurtig lille del af verden, så alt i alt blev det ret pinlige dejligt nok alligevel.

Og faktisk, ja så er jeg bare en lille bitte bitte smule undskyldt!!!

For min onkel havde før sommeren sagt, at han ville invitere til lørdag d.12., og det havde jeg plottet ind på min indre kalender, og har så ikke opdaget, at der faktisk stod d.13. i invitationen.

Så altså – lidt uforskyldt er jeg vel i miseren, ikk’…

    Jeg har prøvet det – stå der i døren med det pæne tøj, gave og det hele – for at blive mødt af et noget forvirret ansigt, der kan fortælle det først er i morgen, det hele foregår…

    Det var rigtigt hyggeligt, Pernille, da jeg lige havde sundet mig over min fadæse…

    Det er jo det den har, Anita, jeg har fået den af min venindes far og glæder mig tit over det lille glade fjæs…

    Det blev også ret sjovt for os selv, Sonnie, da min egen lille familie lige holdt op med at være meget pinligt berørte over moderens dumhed 🙂

    Ja, sådan kan det gå…Glemmer aldrig da vi engang mødte op i Fjerritsslev til min brors 50 års fødselsdag, der var bare ikke nogen vi kendte der, og på kroen kendte de ikke noget til min brors fødselsdag…det viser sig så at festen var i Åbybro…jamen de plejer altid at holde deres fester i Fjerritslev…det er nu fem år siden, jeg bliver drillet endnu…

    Hi hi. Godt det ble hyggelig likevel. Personlig kan jeg total identifisere meg, for jeg tror nesten jeg har norgesmesterskapets Gullmedalje i Ankomster på feil Dato, både for tidlig og for sent, evnt. ikke i det hele tatt. Ikke et godt trekk egentlig. Jeg skylder alltid på at jeg ikke får plass til alt i hodet..

    Anne, det er en både sød – og indrømmet – meget grinagtig historie. Samtidig må jeg altså også indrømme, at din sidste lille krølle gør det hele fuldstændigt forståeligt og tilforladeligt i mine øjne – jeg kunne være kommet ud for præcis det samme 🙂 Heldigvis er du jo rummelig og humoristisk, så du klarer nok det fremtidige punkeri.
    – og så den lille og totalt uopfordrede pegefinger, som du bare kan ignorere totalt, hvis den er dum og irriterende: desværre har jeg også erfaring for, at det sker når stressbarometeret står i det (lyse)røde felt (ikke at det behøver være dét, men …) – husker du nu at passe ordentligt på dig selv i dén afdeling?
