Morgenstund i selskab med Jamie, friske bær i skålen, mynte-te i koppen, lys og blomster, stilhed og god tid, sådan kan jeg li’ en tirsdag morgen.

Dagen er stort set uden planer, der er intet jeg skal eller er nødt til, jeg kan la’ lysten bestemme retning og fart, måske skal haven nettes, måske skal der bages, der skal helt sikkert strikkes og måske ender vejret endda med at opfordre til sofa og film.

Pigerne får bedstevenner på besøg, men det er ikke noget jeg er blandet ind i, det skulle da lige være en servering af ordentligt mad, da der ellers nok kan gå teenage-junk i den, men resten af hurlumhej’et klarer de selv.

I virkeligheden er de så store og selvkørende, at de vist ind imellem synes, at jeg godt kunne ta’ noget mere ud af huset, men lidt opvartning og forplejning opvejer måske min tilstedeværelse…

Jeg kan mærke, at feriestemningen efterhånden er nået ud i hver celle af min krop, jeg ånder lettere, bevæger mig langsommere og tankerne er i ro, jeg er ikke hele tiden i gang eller på vej, jeg er her bare og det har jeg trængt skrækkeligt meget til at være.

Det har taget mig tid, lang tid, årevis, at nå hertil, hvor jeg for alvor kan flyde og være i ro, jeg har altid været en urolig sjæl, der kørte i højhastighed inden i hovedet og nok også udenpå, altid gang i projekter og nye landvindinger, fart på, fremad og ud over stepperne, også når der stod ferie i kalenderen.

Jeg kan stadig li’ at ha’ tempo på, at kaste en hel masse bolde op i luften og gribe så mange som muligt med blækspruttearmene, men jeg er også kommet til at holde ganske meget af de timer, endda dage, hvor der ikke sker en hel masse.

At sidde og kigge på en killings opdagelse af verden, at vandre i haven og bare nyde farver og former, at ligge i hængesofaen og se skyerne drive afsted, at sidde ved spisebordet og dagdrømme.

Bare at være, at vegetere, at restituere.

Jeg bliver bedre – stille og roligt…

    Min mand har også måtte lære at vegetere og restituere, jeg har derimod altid været rigtig god til det.
    Det er sundt for sjælen 🙂

    Det er en god egenskab at besidde – at kunne nyde og være lige der, hvor man er, også selvom der ikke sker alverden.
    – Men hvis man er en nysgerrig sjæl med et aktivt væsen, så kan det jo være lidt af en udfordring.

    Det kræver øvelse, Lise, meget endda, men det bliver bedre og det er godt for mig…

    Ja, det er skønt, Anne, også selvom det holder hårdt ind imellem…

    Det er det de gør, Jette, og gamle sejlivede vaner er ikke sådan at komme af med i løbet af nul komma niks, men hvis jeg nu bliver ved med at øve, så kommer det nok…
