Amalia og julebag…

Flere og flere før-jul-gøremål streges i min lille huskebog, jeg er stille og roligt på vej igennem de forskellige dicipliner i juleklargøringen.

Jeg tager det i adstadigt tempo, fredeligt og tæt på afslappet, jeg vil ikke overgive mig til den der selvsvingsting, som ind imellem har ramt mig i den sidste uge op mod jul, hvor jeg nærmest er kommet i rotation rundt om mig selv af bare iver for at nå det hele og også af angst for ikke at kunne få det hele til at klappe på den perfekte strålende måde…

Jeg gør det ikke i år, jeg nægter og har givet mig selv håndslag på, at jeg vil være Mor Juleblid hele vejen igennem og ikke forvandles til det der hysteriske hvæsende monster, som godt kan kigge frem, når der er for meget på programmet.

Så der er luget godt og grundigt ud i de arrangementer, der ligger udenfor hjemmet, ret mange af dem har jeg deltaget i af pligt og så nærmest haft blodsmag i munden af stress, mens jeg halsede afsted imellem dem, det er slut med det, jeg nægter!

“Julefred og nærvær” messer jeg stille for mig selv, når noget eller nogen pirker til den lillebitte mikroskopiske snert af utilpashed, eller måske bare fremmedhed, der ligger i forlængelse af alle mine Nej takker…

Det er ikke bare helt let og problemfrit at ændre kurs, traditioner og vaner, men det kan lade sig gøre, stille og roligt, og når det hele så alligevel, trods alle gode intentioner, begynder at ta’ fart i kurs mod “Du plejer!”, så skynder jeg mig over i et blødt sofahjørne med mit strikketøj og med lidt juleinspirationslekture og så finder jeg hurtigt tilbage til de beslutninger, der er taget om denne juls forløb.

    Det lyder som den helt rigtige måde at gøre sig selv klar til julen. Ingen mor-jule-monster, ingen stress og kun de arrangementer der giver ro i maven.

    Sådan…julewoman!
    Går selv på juleferie på fredag, 2 uger…uhmm og jeg gør en ihærdig indsats for ikke at pakke kalenderen for meget. Jeg drømmer nemlig om at sove længe…hver dag, hver dag vende mig om på den anden side og tænke om lidt, lige om lidt.

    Helt enig! Det er sådan julen skal være – hvert år! Det er det vi mennesker har brug for i denne mørke tid – alt det andet er ren staffage. Så det gælder om at luge ud i alle “traditionerne” og holde fast på mottoet om den rolige/fredelige jul.

    Jeg ved ikke om jeg er ret sej, Anne, eller overhovedet evner at vælge det rigtige, men jeg forsøger, jeg forsøger virkelig at holde fast i, at decemberdagene skal være til hygge og glæde for os alle.
