Nogle potter med sommerblomster fra sidste sæson har stået med fyldet i vinteren over, de har levet et usselt og overset liv ude i den forladte have, ingen har gidet tømme dem og stable dem smukt, ingen har keret sig om, hvorvidt de sprang i frosten eller ej, de har bare stået der og set sølle ud i et hjørne, hvor ingen alligevel kom.

Da vinteren, hvis man kan kalde den sådan, var slut, og foråret godt i gang, tog jeg mig sammen og fik kylet alt det gamle og totalt døde ud i krattet, det føg om ørerne på mig med kedeligt brugt jord og halvrådne stængler af sidste sommers skønheder, indtil jeg pludselig fik fat i en potte med plante, der ikke var afgået ved døden, men som tvært imod havde skyndt sig at sætte smukke nye sprøde blade i de første lune forårsdage.

Jeg aner ikke, hvad søren det er for én, men jeg vander, gøder og plejer, og glæder mig til at se, hvad det mon ender med at være…

    Det er en horthensia.
    Jeg oplevede selv det lille mirakel sidste år. Den voksede sig stor og stærk og var en fryd for øjet hele sommeren.
    Faktisk var den så vellykket at jeg med fuld overlæg kylede alle horthensia-krukkerne om under haveaffaldsbunken sidste efterår.
    Da jeg fandt dem frem i forårslyset var underet sket en gang mere, 3 flotte planter står nu og strutter.

    Tak for det, Hanne, du bekræfter min “mistanke”, for det var den eneste potte, hvor der var lidt stive grene tilbage, og det kunne jo være en hortensia.

    Jeg er ellers ikke ret god til dem, har flere i mit hvide staude-bed, og forsøger at rette mig efter bøgernes kloge ord om klipning eller ej, men de giver sgi ikke rigtigt nogen blomster 🙁

    Det var da en dejlig overraskelse. Jeg håber på overraskelser af samme skuffe i år, for sidste sommers krukker har vist også følt sig vældig overset, da sommeren var slut. Vi venter og ser! 🙂

    Noro garnet, som jeg har foræret Liselotte, er ikke købt i Danmark, ej heller på nettet i det store udland, det er kommet til mig ad andre veje.
    Men jeg ved, at Garngalleriet i Ry http://www.garngalleriet.dk/ forhandler det, og jeg ved også at “min” farve hedder 1208, så måske kan du få hjælp der hos søde Birthe…
