Jeg har været oppe med hønsene og stået i salat til knæene, men nu er det færdigt, og hele alrummet dufter af frisksnittet grønt og basilikum.

Silas skal døbes i dag, og de havde brug for en hånd til det grønne, og den giver jeg gerne, jeg elsker at lave salat, og da Laura så oven i købet tilbød at være med-snitter, så blev det bare ekstra hyggeligt, for hun forstår virkelig at krydre en stille stund med masser af snik-snak og sjove iagttagelser…

Der er lavet pastasalat af fuldkornspasta, grillet peberfrugt, blandede cherrytomater, rødløg, ruccola og masser af basilikum.

Og salat med melon og sprøde grønne asparges, spæde rødebedeblade, agurker, lidt bladselleri og feldsalat.

Coleslaw, det må der også til, når der skal grilles, nye danske tynde gulerødder, bredbladet persille og fintsnittet spidskål, knasende og godt og så vendt i syrlig dressing med honey-mustard i.

Mens jeg sidder her og skriver, bliver jeg da egentlig lidt ærgerlig over, at salaten skal fragtes afsted af andre, for jeg kunne da godt ha’ spist en portion sammen med noget nygrillet Charolaise!

Men jeg hopper ind bag disken i byens bedste butik og det bliver såmænd også skønt, både Helles gode selskab og glade kunders lørdagshumør skal være med til at gøre dagen god…

    Mundvandet løber over her, mums hvor ser det lækkert ud.
    Du får det til at lydde så legende let bare at mikse salat sammen, syntes tit jeg mikser det samme igen og igen.
    Det der honey-mustard hvad er det for en ting ??

    At savle er ikke det værste, Helle, ikke når det er over mad eller skønne mænd 😉

    Yt, her er det nok modsat, jeg får aldrig mikset det samme, til stor fortrydelse for nogen i familien, der godt kan li’ at noget er som det plejer 😉
    Honey Mustard er såmænd bare en sennep med honning, det kunne jeg selvfølgelig også ha’ skrevet, men det tænkte jeg ikke på, jeg kalder den selv det engelske.

    Tak, Bebiane, jeg gør mit bedste!
    Jeg er også ind imellem stødt på billeder, der har haft den modsatte effekt end den nok tiltænkte, når alt der blegt, brunt eller grumset ud, så er der ikke meget gang i mundvandet…

    Grønne asparges er toppen, Heidi, jeg elsker det!
    Og så synes jeg at fuldkornspasta er kønnere, end det helt blege…

    Silas’ gæster må da have fået stillet sulten! Og været glade oveni med den farvesymfoni, salatdamen havde fået “bikset sammen”. Flotte salater med lækker-lækker ingredienser.

    Ingen var gået sultne fra bordet, Conny, og så vidt jeg kan fornemme, har der været tilfredshed med både smag og farver 🙂
