Vi skal spise sammen med gode venner i aften, 8 af slagsen, store og små.
Vi er så heldige med, at vi har dem lige omkring os til daglig, vi kan bare kigge ud af døren i arbejdsværelset, så kan vi se dem, eller i alle tilfælde deres huse.
Godt naboskab er en gave, og vi forsøge at huske at sætte pris på det, og også at pleje det…

I aften er der sammenskudsgilde, jeg får lov at klare hovedretten, og kan så glæde mig til at se og smage, hvad de andre har fundet på til forret og dessert.
Jeg er næsten klar med mit, de indledende øvelser er gjort, og nu kan resten klares i ovn eller gryde uden den store indblanding fra min side.

Der er brunet en stor oksetyksteg, der er lavet salat, høvlet Pecorino, der er kommet masser af salt ved de nye marokkanske kartofler og lavet en rødløgskompot med vin og farin.
På blusset står en svampesauce og simrer, og under klædet hygger dejen til sprøde durumbrød sig og Læsøsmørret står koldt og venter på at smelte på det lune brød.

Jeg får da faktisk mundvand af at sidde her og skrive…

    Jeg får da mundvand af at læse! Hvad skal der ske med de der kartofler?

    De skal såmænd bare koges, 100 g. god salt og en halv citron pr. kg. kartofler, koge koge koge i 35-40 minutter, vandet fra og så drysse med fint salt.
    De kaldes LaSanta, og er lært af Glæsel, vi elsker dem, uha til grill om sommeren, numme-num!

    Fortæl lige lidt om den rødløgskompot….!? Jeg elsker rødløg, ikke mindst deres smukke farve.

    De kartofler er altså også gode på et stk. rugbrød dagen efter… eller som brasede… eller bare lige fra fadet :o) Tak for kaffe idag ! Kh Susanne

    Tak, Ella, vi havde en dejlig aften, bortset fra at kokke-mor her skar sin ene finger ret meget, da et porcelænsfad knækkede 🙁

    Mette, rødløgskompotten er en af mine favoritter, den er god til rigtigt meget, såmænd også hverdags frikadellen.
    Grove både af rødløg sauteres i smør, rødvin hældes på og det koger lidt ind.
    Så kommes der en ordenligt klump farin i, og kompotten simrer i 20-25 min.
    Kan evt. jævnes en anelse med maizena!

    En kartoffelmad, Susanne, det er det der må til i dag 🙂

    Uhm – det ser fantastisk ud. Kartoflerne og rødløgskompotten er skrevet bag øret og skal prøves førstkommende lejlighed 🙂
