I “The Prince of Tides” snakker Nick Nolte og Barbara Streisand om den perfekte bid, den sammensætning af mad, der giver den helt optimale smagsoplevelse, om måden man sætter de små bidder af de forskellige ting på gaflen, og den fryd det helst skal være, når smagen breder sig i munden.

Sådan har jeg det altid, når jeg skal lave menuer, sætte retter sammen, så sidder jeg der med alle sanser åbne, og forstiller mig kontrasterne mellem surt og sødt, sprødt og blødt, de første smagindtryk og dem der først dukker op, når man tygger fjerde gang.
Jeg lukker øjnene og tænker farver, anretning, fornemmelse, jeg bliver helt salig…

Mine rugbrødsmadder vokser sig ind imellem til mere end højt-belagt, og det er ikke kødpålægget, der fylder, nej det er alle de ting, der toppes ovenpå, madderne bliver så høje at alt vælter ned, når kniven sættes i.

I dag blev det en tyk skive rugbrød med et tyndt lag læsø-smør, lidt ruccola og andet skarpt salat, nogle skiver chorizo, feta, forårsløg, basilikum og forskellige tomater, friskplukkede fra drivhuset, friskkværnet peber og et let drys maldon, det blev den helt perfekte bid…

    Du godeste! Er det madpakken?! Jeg er imponeret.
    Det kan være svært at sammensætte menuer på den måde, når man kommer blæsende hjem på cykel og opdager, at køleskabet er tomt 🙁

    Madpakken plejer at være aftensmads-rester, jeg elsker at få noget varmt sidst på formiddagen, det giver gode kræfter til at klare resten af timerne.Vores madpakker er altid gode, jeg bruger laaaang tid på at lave dem, men denne mad, det var nu en jeg smurte mig, da jeg kom hjem idag, jeg holdt tidligt fri, og havde ikke haft noget med i skole.
    Men jeg er jo miljø-skadet, Helle, hiver sgu mad frem i tide og utide, og vores køleskab er altid fyldt op, hvilket også er hårdt for husholdningskassen, men jeg æællsker mad, nok mere at lave end at spise, selv om det heller ikke er værst 🙂

    Uhm… den mad gad jeg godt spise. Jeg elsker også det der med at lave og pynte, planlægge og udføre, men kagerne gider jeg sjældent spise. Stik mig en tyk skive hjemmebagt rugbrød eller et langtidshævet brød og behold så bare kagerne – nå ja, og så vil jeg også godt lægge billet ind på din mad dér 😉

    Mmmnnnnn den mad gad jeg også godt spise Anne – tænk at der er noget der gider at smøre mad 😉

    Det er en af mine absolutte hadeopgaver og det er egentlig dumt, for der er så meget kærlighed i en mad(pakke) der er lagt sjæl i 🙂

    Jeg har også altid været mere til en mad end til kage.

    Kom i bare, i to fra AA, så skal jeg smøre madder!!

    Der er en pige fra Lauras klasse, der mener, at skolen skal ansætte mig til at smøre madpakker til alle børnene; det skulle de ta’ at gøre, jeg ville elske det 🙂

    Du har gjort mig helt sulten, så en kort kommentar idag.
    Mums må se hvad kæleskabet byder.. Nok ikke andet end hvad jeg selv har fyldt i det desværre. Ulempen/fordelen ved at bo alene (fordelen er at det ikke er væk, når man lige har glædet sig til det)

    Ja jeg har altså 2 “kæleskabe”, er så glad for mad, at det måtte blive en dobbelt-op!
    Jeg tror simpelthen, at jeg vil snuppe dit fejl-udtryk og så gøre det til et lille hverdagsord her 😉
