En weekend om måneden har vi et ekstra barn ved måltiderne, et ekstra barn at putte, et ekstra barn at nusse om, et ekstra barn at vække, et ekstra barn at smøre madpakke til, vores familie er i 3 dage udvidet med et ekstra medlem.

Vi har en dreng i aflastning, en dreng, der har brug for at komme her, hvor der er tid og overskud, og hvor han kan se andre måder at være familie, mor og far på, end han kan derhjemme.

Han vadede ind i vores stuer, og lige ind i vores hjerter, han giver vinkler og nuancer på vores hverdagsliv, og er et herligt suppelement til vores egen børneflok.
Pigerne er glade for ham, og han for dem, de spiller og leger, og specielt Laura vil gøre alt for, at hans dage her bliver noget særligt; de har for alvor fået øjnene op for, at ikke alle børn lever et så priviligeret liv, som de, nu hører de historierne om det trælse børneliv fra pålidelig kilde.

Jeg bliver ramt i mit moder-hjerte, når han ligger der med hovedet på puden, nybadet og afslappet, parat til at sove; jeg fortæller ham, at vi synes, det er så dejligt at ha’ ham her, at vi er meget glade for ham, og han siger med oprigtig undren i stemmen: “Er i virkelig??”, det er svært for ham at mærke vores varme, sådan er det, når ingen ellers fortæller en, at man er elsket og vigtig!

    En dejlig historie 🙂 Jeg kan nikke genkendende til den, da vi deler vores hjem og hverdag med 3 teenagere med forskellige problemer.
    Det er selvfølgeligt ikke altid rosenrødt – i hvert fald ikke for os..men glæden ved at gi’ noget der virkeligt er noget værd, opvejer stadig alt det sure 🙂

    Det er stadig svært at få varmen “ind” i kroppen på den lille mand her i huset, trods det at vi stadig ivrigt forsøger og han har boet her i godt 3 år – nogen gange kan jeg være helt fortvivlet og tænke: “gad vide om vores varme nogen sinde rigtig trænger ind…………….” :-((
