Otto...

"Ombre" og striber...

Uldne stangmasker...

Otto er gået lidt kold over den nye beboer.
Faktisk på sådan en måde, at han er blevet både lidt tynd og skravlet og sur i humøret.
Stakkels Otto.

Sofakatten med den høje status i familien må nu finde sig i at blive bjæffet af, nappet lidt i og i det hele taget bare få sit fredelige katteliv forstyrret af den lille pelsbandit, som hænger huset.
Jeg er HELT sikker på, at Otto savner store gamle stille Nugga, som var helt trekvart ligeglad med Ottos gøren og laden, som stort set aldrig gav lyd fra sig og som i alle tilfælde ikke prøvede at stjæle Ottos sovesteder eller pels…

Vi går selvfølgelig alt vi kan for at skærme Otto, ALT, vi er endda gået så vidt som at det nu er tilladt at ligge på spisebordet uden for måltiderne, det er stort.
Vi lukker af til soveværelse og veranda, så han kan trone der og holde øje med livet i haven og sove sin skønhedssøvn i mine bløde dyner.
Vi håndfodrer ham med fedtholdigt tørkost, så han kan få lidt sul på sin store krop igen.
Vi aer, nusser, pusser og pyldrer.
Vi passer ham op i hoved og bag, den store smukke kat.

I dag lagde jeg et næsten færdigt hækletøj på bordet og Otto indtog det straks, vi har næsten ikke kunnet nænne at tage ham væk derfra.
Han har ligget der midt på bordet og tronet på de uldne striber og set vældigt tilfreds ud.
Måske skulle jeg bare lave et Otto-tæppe? I smukke grå nuancer, der kunne matche hans dip-dye-pels.
Måske skulle vi træne lidt i hop-op-på-skab? Så han kunne få ro for banditten.

Stakkels Otto –
hvis han kunne tale, ja så ville han sikkert bede os om straks at bortadoptere den lille vilde hvide.

Heldige Otto –
der har sin private oppasser Amanda, som vil gå til yderligheder for at støtte op om et fortsat luksusliv for ham.

Og så ved vi jo at tiden arbejder for os og lige pludselig en dag, så er Huxi færdig med at være den, der sætter fut i fejemøget 24-7.
Men indtil da, så må den store grå vist ha’ lov til liv med bordsovning og private uldne striber…

    Ingen tvivl om at der må et Otto-tæppe på banen! Og gerne hurtigt, inden Otto svinder ind til en skygge af sig selv.
    Intelligente katte er følsomme dyr, der nok skal vise deres ubehag ved forandringer. Det bliver godt for Otto jer andre) (og, når Huxi kommer ud over lømmelalderen.

    Indtil da vil jeg glæde mig til at se et lækkert Otto-tæppe her på kanalen 🙂

    Smukke smukke Otto.
    Den ene af mine katte er gået hjemmefra. Først var hun væk i 2½ uge og kom hjem voldsomt afkræftet og uvillig til at spise. Efter mindre end to døgn forsvandt hun igen, og vi forventer faktisk ikke at se hende mere. Jeg tror desværre hun har taget varig skade.

    Hvor er han sød – et rigtigt lille tigerdyr på det første billede. Men håber han igen bliver glad, måske i takt med at ballade-hvalpen bliver ældre?

    For år tilbage fik jeg en hundehvalp, og vores kloge kattemor gik hjemmefra i protest. Hun kom tilbage efter en måned, og da hunden stadig var der, accepterede hun det og begyndte at komme med mus til at fodre hundebarnet med. 🙂

    Jamen jamen… Godt Otto har lidt enerum nu. Huxi falder jo heldigvis til ro igen. Her er Rommer også blevet pisten. Miller udfordre ham hele tiden, magtkamp, tror jeg. Hvilken tørfoder håndfodre du med?

      Der er nok at ta’ sig til med katte og hunde og liv i det hele taget, Sidsel.

      Vi håndfodrer med senior + for der er noget appetitfremmende i og så en del mere fedt end i andet kattemad. Otto har fået meget mere appetit i den sidste uges tid og behøver nu ikke at nødes mere…

      Jeg er faktisk ret sikker på, at det er det Otto har, Bettina, og der bliver passet ekstra godt på ham.
      VI vil gøre alt for, at det kommer til at lykkes dette her, for vi vil ikke undvære hverken kat eller hund og Otto var jo rigtigt glad for Nugga, så vi satser på, at tiden arbejder for os…

    Fantastisk godt billede, det første, af Otto. Jeg bliver helt misundelig, min maine coon blev aflivet i august. Og selvfølgelig skal han da ha’ et Otto-tæppe.
    Vi skal heldigvis hente 2 killinger på søndag (blanding af norsk skovkat og ragdoll), så jeg får nok min lyst stillet 🙂 Efter sigende er der krudt i dem a la Huxi, så det er nok mig, der bliver ‘Otto-træt’…
