På rad og række…

Potter på række, nye og fine, noget skønnere at se på, end de store kapilærkasser, der plejer at fylde derude, masser af jord til de små pytlinge af planter, der lige akkurat stikker snuden op over kanten.

Hjemmelavede tomatplanter af italienske sorter, de store tykke, der er gode til rugbrødsmadder med løg og basilikum på, og så de lange slanke, som skal bruges til madlavning.

Endnu er de bare små og nærmest ynkelige i de store lerpotter, men inden længe, så skyder de med raketfart og begynder at sætte en overflod af gule blomster, der lover en rig høst.

Det satser vi på…

Vi er kommet lidt sent i gang med alt pusleriet derude, for de dage, hvor vi plejer at starte op derude, ja de blev brugt på konfirmation, mere konfirmation og så da lige lidt mere konfirmation, det har været et noget amputeret forår i haven og alt er lettere forsinket, men denne lille miniferie giver os mulighed for at indhente noget af det forsømte og vi ender vel med at nå det hele.

Tomater får vi ikke til samme tid, som vi plejer, men det klarer vi vel og kan jo også suppelerer med en enkelt gartner-fremdrevet tomatplante, hvis vi går helt i panik. En ganske almindelig Elin måske, det er det Torben allerhelst vil ha’ og så kan vi andre muntre os med de lidt mere skæve af slagsen…

Jeg er spændt på, hvordan det bliver at passe alle potterne, der kommer til at kræve noget mere opmærksomhed end kasserne; bliver det mon let at styre gødning og vanding?

Det er et forsøg værd, synes jeg, for kønt ser det ud med potter i flok.

Og jeg er villig til at strække mig langt for det kønne.

Agurker skal hentes hjem i dag og også en lille figen, for den gamle er bare en grå og død pind.

Måske lister der sig andet med på vognen, det kunne let tænkes…

    Du har helt ret i, at kasserne ikke er pæne, men jeg må indrømme, at jeg hvert år glæder mig over, at der er så nemt at have et drivhus. Folk, der ikke har et, tror altid, at det er et værre mas, men det er det jo ikke, når det stort set passer sig selv. Man kan bare høste og høste uden den store indsats – og så går jeg gerne på kompromis med æstetikken!
    Men indrømmet…. dine krukker er meget kønnere!

    Jeg har jo også haft kasserne indtil nu, Birgitte, og måske ryger de ind igen næste år, men de smukke her, de skal i alle tilfælde ha’ en chance 🙂

    Jeg gad godt have et drivhus, men det får vente til jeg bor et sted med plads til et 🙂

    Indtil da nøjes jeg med en masse krukker på terassen. Har i dag købt en cherrytomatplante, der allerede har en enkelt blomst, så det er mit håb, at jeg snart kan høste tomater af egen avl 🙂
