Men jeg gør det og hvorfor ikke starte med ordet kreativitet, som var et af forslagene, det falder meget godt i tråd med dagens udfoldelser.

I eftermiddag har jeg siddet ved spisebordet og vredet et par tyske transparente stjerner, foldet og glattet og limet sammen, jeg har klippet, tegnet og limet lidt mere. Hørt lydbog og også lidt julemusik, jeg trængte, og mens jeg har siddet her, så har jeg tænkte lidt over, hvad jeg mon ville bruge tiden på, hvis jeg ikke altid var i gang med at strikke, klippe, lime, male, forme, tegne eller lege i køkkenet.

Ville jeg læse mere? Se mere tv? Være mere sammen med andre mennesker?

Jeg tænker ikke, at jeg nogensinde vil finde ud af det, for jeg kan ikke forestille mig en hverdag – eller hvilken som helst dag – uden en eller anden form for kreativitet. Jeg har urolige hænder og nok også en lidt urolig sjæl, så der skal være noget at tage sig til og det giver mest glæde, hvis jeg har noget i hænderne og jeg ser noget vokse ud af dem. Sådan har det vist altid været. Jeg kan i alle tilfælde se billeder i albummet af lille Anne, der maler med fedtfarver og fægter med en saks og jeg husker det også sådan helt inden i, lyden af en skarp saks i et stykke papir ved køkkenbordet i Apotekergade og så den stærke duft af lim fra den transparente buttede blå flaske, klip klip klip, en engel, en påklædningsdukke eller et lille eventyr. Og hos min far legede vi med flydende tusch, lavede kalaidoskoper af malet glas med stumper af sugerør indeni, vi lavede tegneserier, fastelavnsmasker og mærkelige papirhatte…

På samme måde, som jeg finder ro i køkkenet med alle de ting, som jeg kan finde på det, sådan finder jeg også ro, når jeg har hænderne i gang med et stykke papir, nogle meter garn eller hvad der nu skal forvandles til noget andet, end det det er.

Mon det er en kombination af bevægelse, det taktile og så en ventilering af alt det, der bobler inden i hele tiden. Der er aldrig stille i mit hoved, små idéer og behov plinger ind som lyden fra 100 sms’er sendte afsted inden for kort tid, pling pling pling, jeg kunne også, tænk hvis jeg lige havde noget kork, pling pling, jeg kunne også male den blå, mon det smager godt med allehånde i, pling, hvordan foldede jeg nu de store stjerner dengang, pling.

24-7.

Aldrig stille.

Det bobler.

Og lige meget hvor meget tid, der end ville være til rådighed, så ville jeg aldrig løbe tør for ideér eller projekter, som jeg havde lyst til at sætte i gang…

For mig er det kreative meget lystbetonede og jeg er ikke altid lige vedholdende, kan let hoppe fra det ene til det andet og så tilbage igen, men jeg gør mig altid umage, altid.

“Man behøver ikke at være dygtig men man kan altid gøre sig umage!” – tak til farmor, jeg hører altid hendes stemme inden i, hvis jeg en sjælden gang er lidt for hurtig med noget.

Jeg er en 117-projekter-på-én-gang-person og så tager det selvfølgelig længere tid at få noget afsluttet, men afsluttet det bliver det, lang de fleste gange da, men jeg vil ha’ det rart og hyggeligt, mens jeg laver det og det betyder også, at jeg ikke gider bruge energi på at tale med mig selv om, at det ville give mere mening at afslutte noget, før jeg satte det næste i gang.

Kun i køkkenet giver det god mening for mig at blive færdig, når jeg er gået i gang, det gør det nok for de fleste, man skal jo ligesom bruge maden til noget og oftest gerne lige om lidt…

Jeg er hverken en decideret proces- eller resultatperson, jeg elsker både processen – i små bidder af gangen altså – og jeg elsker også at stå med et lækkert resultat i hånden og kan nyde det igen og igen. Hvis jeg undervejs i processen opdager, at jeg er på fejl kurs, så går jeg ikke videre med det, enkelte strikketøjer har endt deres dage i brændeovnen og underlige klipperier er røget samme vej, jeg nægter at gøre noget færdigt bare fordi “man skal”. Jeg skal ingenting, når det handler om fri leg med saks, pinde, grydeskeer eller andet godt, sådan duer det ikke for mig. Jeg skal ingenting ud over at have det rart, sjovt og hyggeligt, mens jeg leger med de materialer, som lokker på den ene eller anden måde.

Og så skidt med at jeg efterlader mig små bunker af i gangværende projekter rundt i huset. Skidt med at man reelt kun kan bruge halvdelen af spisebordet til at spise ved, fordi resten af bordet er kreativt værksted, skidt med at man kan snuble i en strikkepose eller to på siden af sofaen, skidt med at ikke alle vandrette flader er ryddede og sirlige, for der leves faktisk et liv med aktive hænder her og det må der rigtigt gerne…

    Uh, jeg tror, min mand skal læse sidste afsnit af det her indlæg 😀 For på vores lille sofabord i dene ne stue ligger lige nu: skabelon til en klippet kogle i mange lag, bandarole fra noget garn, strikkepindehylster, strikkebog, et nøgle bomuldsgarn (og hvad laver det der? – måske satte jeg masker til ærmer på det, så min datter kunne prøve sin trøje), opslag til det fineste sjal med alt for mange masker, min strikkenotesbog, en kuglepen, en hæklenål , nogle maskemarkører, et par juleblade, foldeanvisning til en stjerne plus det løse.
    Det er en stue, vi kun er i om aftenen, og det er typisk der min kreatid ligger, så jeg når sjældent at få ryddet op, for jeg skal jo bruge det lige om lidt igen…
    Så dejligt at læse om din evige kreative proces og din evigt knitrende sysle-hjerne. Sådan er min også, og nøj, hvor er der mange, mange planer og ideer så! Så sent som her til morgen har jeg måttet overbevise mig selv om, at jeg næppe kan nå både at lave gullash, confiterede andelår, folde stjernehimmel, lave forhaven færdig, grave nyt rosenbed og prøve ny opskrift på juleboller, mens jeg strikker min datters trøje færdig og kommer videre med julekrea.
    Jeg er vild med de finurlige, skælmske og knibske ansigtsudtryk, dine engle får. God fredag!

      Hvis man hele tiden skal rydde op efter sig, så ryger kreativiteten og det rare og beroligende ved at have noget at give sig til med sine hænder.
      Og så pyt med at man må sno sig lidt uden op på sin vej gennem huset og lige så meget pyt med at vi altid har mange mange flere idéer end vi har tid, alternativet ville jo være for meget tid og intet at give sig til. En tilpas balance findes vist ikke helt for kreative sjæle.

    DEJLIGT at læse om din kreativitet, som jeg nyder godt af- både på strikkepindene og i køkkenet. Jeg vil ikke mere have ( SÅ) dårlig samvittighed over mine forskellige strikkeprojekter, for jeg nyder også processen.
    Det på sin vis trælse er, at jeg med alderen kun vil acceptere en perfekt afslutning af et strikketøj, og det tager tid!!

      Og tro mig, jeg kender 100% til det med perfektionismen, jeg bliver ved indtil jeg er HELT tilfreds.

      Tak, Lene, jeg kan også mærke, at det er rigtigt godt for hjernen at få lidt skrive udfordringer. Jeg staver som en brækket arm, men jeg når heldigvis at opdage det meste, inden jeg poster det.

    Jeg deler din glæde ved at bruge hænderne til kreative projekter. Kreativiteten har været med mig på en helt afgørende måde og båret mig gennem hele min årelange proces med at komme ud på den anden side af mine hjernerystelser. Jeg skrev mig igennem, udtrykte mig gennem collage, maleri og skulptur og senere foto og håndlavede mixed mediabøger. At udtrykke mig i skrift og billeder er der, hvor jeg møder mig selv og kender mig selv dybest.
