Huxi 14 uger....

Da klokken var 7.40 var det stadig mørkt.
Da klokken var 7.40 havde jeg gået en tur i regnen, bagt boller, fodret og klappet alle de pelsede, glattet flader, sat aftensmad over, hængt vasketøj op og nydt mere end én kop te.

Hvad skete der med mit rolige afslappede uden-småbørns-liv? Det der, hvor jeg kunne sove bare lidt længe, til kl 7.15 måske, læse avis, læse bog, drikke te, blogge, stene, drikke mere te og læse et par kapitler i en bog?
Hvad skete der?

Der skete en Huxi og for en tid er alt det rolige lagt på hylden, nu er der tempo og action og jeg har ikke mange rolige øjeblikke i løbet af en dag.
Lige i morges savnede jeg tiden med stille søvnige Nugga, for en afbrudt nattesøvn med luftning i haven og så op kl 06, det er næsten for meget for en halvgammel kælling som mig.

Og dog –
når jeg åbner øjnene og ser ind i det glade og forventningsfulde lille hvalpefjæs, ja så er jeg jo alligevel klar til måneder uden ret meget ro og søvn…

Jeg er jo tosse-dum ligesom så mange andre forældre, jeg hopper lige i den der fælde med “Vi-skal-nok-hjælpe-han-er-jo-alles-hund”.
De fleste af os med børn og dyr har vel prøvet det, alle formaningerne, alle lovningerne, alle sukkene.

Jeg har nattetjansen, jeg har morgentjansen og også de fleste aftener er det mig, der sidder på gulvet og leger og opdrager, for ungmøerne har fester og socialt liv at passe og også en frygtelig masse skønhedssøvn at sove. Og så er der jo lektierne og job og og og.

Bevares –
de går i haven med Huxi og samler det op, som skal samles op, de kan ind imellem også lokkes med en tur i skoven og også til at ta’ en times hundevagt, hvis jeg skal handle eller lave mad. Et par heldagspasninger er det også blevet til og når han er sød og skikkelig, så er der ingen grænser for kærligheden og pasningslysten.
Men de tidlige morgener er der sjovt nok ingen, der byder ind på.

Det er okay, vi klarer det nok alene, Huxi og jeg…

14 uger er han nu, fuld af løjer og høje hvalpe-bjæf, der får vores trommehinder til at vræle, han er en sæk lopper og jeg er konstant på benene.
Heldigvis er det med dyreunger som med menneskeunger, at som tiden går, så kommer der mere rytme og man lærer at spotte mulighederne for egen-tid, man får en fornemmelse af hvor længe den næste lur vil vare og ved nogenlunde hvornår, at det er udetid, tissetid, legetid og så videre.

Vi er slet slet ikke i tvivl om, at vi har fået en sund, stærk og virkelig vidunderligt hund med et godt og roligt sind.
Vi træner og træner og lægger så meget energi i, at få ham til at være den bedste udgave af sig selv, det kræver tid og energi men det skal det også ha’, for han skal være her mange år og det skal han på den bedste måde.

Hans vægt er fordoblet og det samme er hans højde vel, pelsen er blevet længere og der er kækt strithår ovenpå ørerne, blond strithår så han læner sig fint op af den Huxi, der går på to ben.

Vi er mere end godt tilfredse, vi er faktisk helt og aldeles solgt til stanglakrids og Huxi…

      Han har haft rigtig rigtig dårlig mave, Sonja, og det har været nødvendigt at komme ud og nu må det så tage lidt tid at afvænne nattetisseriet.
      Først troede dyrlægen, at han havde ædt et eller andet råddent, men efter en uge og ingen bedring, så blev der taget prøver og han havde masser af spoleorm. De er nu behandlet og maven er god igen, men som du ved, så tager det tid at ændre vaner…

    Spoleorm… er han (og hans mor) mon ikke ormebehandlet hos opdrætteren? De bør de være.

    Huxi er snart teenager og så er natteroderiet ovre. Håber vi 🙂

    Lækker livlige Huxivaps…. Her er vore Ella vaps heldigvis ved at være over den vilde hvalpeperiode og sover fint igennem. Men hold nu op,man bliver sendt lige fluks tilbage til baby og natteroderi stadiet i en periode.

    Hepper på at Huxi snart knækker sovekoden….

    Haha, jeg er så imponert over at du orker! Jeg tror ikke jeg selv skal det igjen før jeg eventuelt får barnebarn. Da skal jeg nok alltids klare meg uten skjønnhetssøvnen igjen. Men ikke før.

    Vi var hos dere i Danmark i helga, med denne gang i København. Noma var enda mer fantastisk enn vi torde håpe på, det var full klaff og vel så det. Nå er det bare å sette i gang med å spare til neste gang noen fyller runde år..
