Lige om lidt kommer en af mine skønne veninder på besøg, jeg har kendt hende længe, siden hun var 10 og jeg var 20.
I begyndelsen virkede aldersforskellen stor, men da hun blev en stor og herlig teen på 16-17 år, ja så var afstanden i interesser og livsopfattelse ikke længere noget at tale om.

Siden har vi fulgte hinanden. I gode tider og mindre gode tider og en sjælden gang i rigtigt dårlige tider.
Ikke i hverdagslivet men i tanker og små hilsner frem og tilbage mellem hovedstad og provins.

Jeg elsker hende, inderligt og uden forbehold, og tænker tit på, at jeg ville ønske, at vi boede tættere.
Det ville være godt og dejligt. For mig, for hende, for alle vores efterhånden mange børn…

I dag kommer de her, veninden og alle hendes raske drenge.
Til snak og hygge og leg og tummel og med indbygget garanti for insisterende “jagt” af pelsdyrene til klap og kram.

Det er livligt, når vi er sammen alle sammen, men det holder jeg af og jeg glæder mig over at….

4 timer senere:

De kom, de krammede, de snakkede, de spiste, de snakkede lidt mere og ALT var helt som det skulle være, kærligt, nærværende, genkendeligt, trygt og sjovt!

Eftermiddagensmaden her var nogenlunde-sunde vafler og ALLE vafler og et stort frugt fad blev elimineret og der er nok en ungersvend eller to, der ikke behøver det store måltid, når klokken slår aftensmad.

Her kommer vores udgave af gode, mættende og “ufarlige” vafler og her er nok til 6 pers.

3 modne bananer
1.5 dl yoghurt naturel
1.5 dl creme fraiche
6.5 dl havregryn/grødblanding af gryn (vi brugte i dag en fra Irma)/speltflager eller andet fra samme skuffe
4 store æg
2 spsk olie
3 tsk bagepulver
3 spsk rørsukker
1 tsk kanel
1 tsk kardemomme

Alt kommes i foodprocessoren eller blenderen og gives et ordentligt drøn indtil alle ingredienser er findelte og massen er jævn.
Bages på vaffeljern til de er sprøde og gyldne.

Jeg smurte vaffeljernet let med olie for hver 3. vaffel.
Da vi ikke skulle spise vaflerne efterhånden som de kom fra jernet, så fik de en eftervarmer i ovnen ved 175 gr. i nogle få minutter, det gav lige lidt ekstra sprødhed.

Vi nød vaflerne med frisk frugt og en klat skyr med hindbær og rabarber

    Hvor er det dejligt, at du deler med os. Tak for de fine billeder OG opskrifter, som jeg trofast gemmer. Idag har jeg lavet chokobananrouladen … 2 gange endda, for den første blev kasseret. Jeg nærved-snublede over vores kat, og tabte dejen som landede på venstre hovedskal/hals af husets madglade labrador. Jeg har aldrig set 2 hundeøjne så store og runde 🙂

    Uhm! Jeg testede dine vafler som fødselsdagsmorgenmad til min datter der fylder 9 i dag, og de var stor succes 🙂 Jeg havde ikke lige yoghurt naturel og creme fraiche i huset, så det blev ca. 3 dl. fromage frais og en sjat piskefløde i stedet (det er de muligvis ikke blevet lettere af, men det fungerede fint…). Der var stor begejstring rundt om bordet, og de er jo så “fornuftige” at man sagtens kan leve af dem på en helt almindelig skoledag – 1000 tak fordi du delte, det er IKKE sidste gang vi har lavet dem…! 🙂
