Juleferie uden meget spræl og tummel, bare stille væren.
Lange dovne dage i blødt tøj i bløde møbler, ikke mange aftaler ude omkring men med åben dør her og flere er trådt ind.

Vi har spist os igennem juleindkøbene, nippet og nydt og set stort på, at der nok godt kunne ha’ været indtaget mere varieret og groft.
Der er drukket i litervis af te og mange kopper god kaffe, appelsiner i baljevis er blevet pillet og spist og også de temmelig stærke pebernødder har fået ben at gå på.

Mellemjul i roligt tempo, bare stille væren, med nye bøger, nye spil, nye film og så alt det velkendte trygge her, som vi læner os tilbage i og finder ro…

Amanda har slæbt sit eget tv ned i stuen, så der nu kan spilles drabelige Playstation-spil samtidig med at vi mere fredelige ser tv, hun skruer ned for lyden og kan følge lidt med i, hvad der foregår på den anden skærm. Jeg nyder bare, at hun helst vil være der, hvor vi andre er og jeg klarer fint, at stuen ser lidt besynderlig ud.
HUn nyder pausen fra det intense efterskoleliv, nyder at der ikke hele tiden er nogen, der vil hende noget eller arrangementer, som hun forventes at deltage i, hun nyder tavsheden, der er let at være i, når rummene samtidig er fyldt med nærvær og samhørighed og summen af vi andres stemmer.

Laura sover lige så meget, som hun er vågen, måske endda mere, hun ruller sig sammen til en lille klump i sofaen og forsvinder ind under dynen, hun trænger til at stemple ud fra lektier og forpligtelser, det forstår jeg så udemærket, for jeg ser jo hver dag, hvor mange timer hun bruger på sit skoleliv.
Så ferie-sump er helt på sin plads, også selvom det nærmest skubber os andre ud af sofaen.

Sophie må pukle mens vi andre flyder, hun sælger udsalgsvarer og bytter julegaver med et smil, hun er mør, virkelig mør, men der er ingen kære for for de, der arbejder i detailhandel, og vi andre kan ikke hjælpe eller afløse, vi kan bare stå klar med hygge, mad, opvartning og omsorg, når hun synker sammen efter endnu en 12 timers arbejdsdag.
December er vist ikke en yndlingsmåned for hende…

Der findes ikke meget andet, som jeg holder så meget af, som jeg gør af sådanne dovne stille dage med mine piger, jeg nyder deres selskab, nyder at kunne kigge på dem, når de passer deres eget i sofaens bløde hjørner, nyder at høre deres pludren og glade grin. Jeg er en heldig mor, der har hele 3 at holde af og pusle om, og det er en luksus at have al den tid det skal være til at gøre det i.

Lange rolige dage med familietid og egentid, med plads til alt det, som jeg gider og holder af. Finsovning, skrivning, bagning, planlægning af det nye år, film og gode bøger, vasketøj og madlavning, hundetur i regn og kattekæl i morgenens blå time.
Og et strikketøj, der bare må strikkes, efter vi i går så en vidunderlig film, en trøje med striber og riller og knapper ved kravebenet, alle raske drenge og skønne piger burde have sådan én, en Hugo-trøje.

Jeg er startet ud med en i en meget lille størrelse, for så er der ikke så meget at trævle op, når forestilligerne i hovedet ikke lever på pinden, en lille bitte størrelse, der passer så fint til den stille væren i de sidste dage af 2012…
