I går, da jeg havde nogle ærinder i den store by, måtte jeg ile op til Sophie i forretningen, for at låne deres toilet, masser af te og strøgtur er en dårlig kombination.
På vejen susede jeg i rask travl forbi en af mine yndlings-butikker, Knirk, der sælges antik og lopper, og hvilken fryd, julepynten var fundet frem og stillet i vinduet!!
Men hver ting til sin tid, toilettet var mere presserende end en falmet engel…

“Hej, skat, jeg må lige låne toilettet!”
“Selvfølgelig, mor, hyggeligt du lige kom, jeg har faktisk en lille ting til dig.”

Tis, tis, tis, bla-bla-bla, vi behøver jo ikke holde snakke-pause, bare fordi mor tisser,vel!

“Jeg skal simpelthen over til Knirk, og det kan kun gå for langsomt, der var den sødeste svamp i vinduet, og en masse andet jule-tjums, skønt!”

Kæmpe smil og glade varme øjne hos Sophie:
“Nå, skal du det, mor, så hils, jeg har lige været der, du ved, den lille ting til dig?!”

To sjæle, en tanke, som mor så datter, æblet falder ikke langt fra stammen, og hva’ vi ellers kan finde på, det søde og betænksomme barn var gået forbi Knirk, havde set julepynten, og havde straks købt de fineste is-blå stjernestager til sin mor, de kunne jo smykke julebordet sammen med masser af blå hyazinter.
I pakken var også nogle gamle søde kræmmerhuse med rundkindede engle på, de skal hænge på den flotteste gren på træet.

Jeg bliver så glad og varm, når hun overrasker mig på den måde, hendes betænksomhed og glæde ved at glæde andre, den er skøn, og kan sagtens trække vand hos den gamle mor…
