Torsdagen er slut lige om lidt.
Ugen har hurtigt fået ben at gå på og pludselig er det weekend igen.

Dagene er fyldt med job, praktiske gøremål, snak, omsorg, aftaler og klargøring af skigrej til 2 piger, der drager mod hver deres destination. En mod nord med efterskolen og en anden mod syd med gymnasiet.
Dagene hos os er som dagene i alle mulige andre familier, travle og til tider hektiske, men også skønne og udfordrende på den gode måde.

I dag har der været ekstra liv omkring spisebordet, gode venner har siddet med og hjulpet os med at tømme fadene og samtidig fyldes os med herlige energi og hjertevarme.
Jeg elsker hverdagsmiddage med gæster, middage uden fine fornemmelser, bare tid og ro og nærvær og så selvfølgelig ordentlig mad.

I dag var det bornholmerkyllinger, små ovnbagte øko-kartofler med karameliserede rødløg, frisk romarin og citron. Dyppelse af mild ajvar og så lidt skyr med masser af hvidløg. En sprød salat af rå broccoli, rugkerner, bredbladet persille og store lunser pomelo.
Vi spiste længe. Og meget.

Tomme fade, fyldte maver og varme hjerter…

Om 40 minutter er det fredag.
Det er okay med mig, jeg synes at hverdagen har taget den plads, som den kan få lov til i denne omgang.
Jeg er klar til sammenhængende timer uden planer, efter sofa, efter tid til bog, strik og blog.

Jeg længes ikke, for det der fylder i hverdagen er dejligt, men jeg er klar til timeout, for hverdagen bliver kun ved med at være god, hvis det er muligt at få en pause fra den ind imellem.

Først en god nattesøvn. Så en god arbejdsdag.

    Elsker weekend, men holder bestemt også af hverdagen og var det anderledes, var det nok tid til at tage livet op til overvejelse, for vi skal jo ikke leve for weekenderne, eller?

      Det har jo været mit fag, Dorthe, og et håndværk som jeg sørger for at holde ved lige, det er dejligt at kunne og giver en masse ro omkring det at invitere til middag.
      Også selv om det bare er hverdag og meget afslappet…

        Det er nemlig det. Når man er mere usikker, så giver det lidt “stress” at finde på og få det til at fungere. Det er altid dejligt at have gæster, men synes det er så svært at finde på, og så venter man nogle gange lidt for længe 🙁
