Jeg har klaret mig igennem første arbejdsdag efter 14 gode lade feriedage.

Det udløser belønning. Så absolut.

 

Nybagte horn med mørk  –  nærmest sort  –  bitter chokolade inden i og et glas iskoldt økomini til.

Og så en halv time i sofaen med lydende fra den franske tur kørende som underlægningsmusik til en lille skraber.

 

5 dages arbejde før ferien holder sit indtog igen.

Belønning hver eftermiddag har jeg besluttet.

Måske ikke sødt hver eneste dag men et eller andet godt til den uden ferie…

 

Hornene kan bages i løbet af mindre end kort tid.

Opskriften kan graves frem fra arkiverne, faktisk tilbage i gemmerne fra 2006, tilbage dertil hvor bloggen havde et andet navn men hvor lysten til kage, strik, samvær, haveleg og mad var den samme som den er i dag.

 

Opskriften er fra min mormors gemmere, så altså gem med gem på, men det bliver hornene ikke ringe af, næ de er nærmest tæt på vidunderlige, især når man tager de minus-anstrengelser, der er forbundet med dem, i betragtning.

 

Ingen undskyldning for ikke at forkæle sig selv og andre med en portion horn.

Det skulle da lige være, hvis man gerne vil holde igen på sukker og hvidt mel.

Men det vil jeg ikke. Ikke i dag i alle tilfælde.

 

Der er fin duft og mundvand her på min pind, jeg er klar til at gå ombord i Tour-platten  –

eneste lille vris der kan lyde er det over, at perlesukker i Danmark er hårdt og gennemsigtigt, jeg kan bedre li’ det kridhvide og mere porøse svenske pärlsocker.

Men det skal ikke tage glansen af belønningen for veludført arbejde.

    Det er da alt for længe siden, jeg har bagt horn af en slags. Her bliver det som regel til kærnemælkshorn. Det må jeg huske, for jeg eeelsker horn…og en skraber, men det har nok længere udsigter 😀

    Har lige bagt dem – dobbelt portion – kan jo aldrig vide sig sikker på selv at få nogen hvis familien kan lide dem og jeg kun bager 16 :-))
